This restaurant is a hidden treasure in Batavia, Ohio in a little strip mall on Bauer Road just on the south side of SR 32. We were camping down at East Fork Lake State Park and we came here for a quick brunch. I had the Cincinnatian a 3 egg omelet with goetta and Homefries and Ashley had the Chicken Tacos. Really cute place, super clean. The server was super nice and responsive. We both got the Cincinnati omelette and hashbrowns (extra crispy) with a side of their sausage gravy…. and it was really good! Portions are generous. Coffee was good. Service was quick. Would definitely be back.

It’s a nice-looking restaurant that was very clean. First time I had been there. I had the chicken hash and a side of gravy. I poured the gravy on the chicken hash. I took a bite and started laughing. I just couldn’t believe how good it was. It was that amazing. My daughter had the breakfast bowl. She said that was great as well. The coffee was decent and so was the service. I really enjoyed my lunch here. We will definitely be back. You should check it out.

I just got my order from Doordash this morning and wow… the biscuits are very dry! I’ve never seen anything like this, honestly. I’m not sure how old these are, but I’m pregnant and didn’t feel that they were safe to eat. Thankfully, Doordash provided a credit. I’d like to imagine that the quality is better in the restaurant due to that being unacceptable and having an immediate complaint, but please don’t give leftovers and old food to Doordash customers However my sons waffle was good, so two stars for that.~

My mom and I needed a place to hang out for a bit while we were waiting in the area, and someone recommended that we try the Poked Yolk. We were not disappointed. Our server, Phoenix, was fast to come and helpful in recommending dishes. We split a poked yolk omelette and blueberry French toast. The servings were generous, and the food was delicious, especially the omelette. We’ll definitely be heading this way again for the purpose of eating here.

Service was great, the food was good both times I went but there definitely was a difference in quality of the food during the visits. Wasn’t a big fan of the music while eating breakfast. Our server was great and was checking on us, and even noticed a side that was cooked incorrectly and took it off the check.

Clean restaurant, waitress was very friendly, and the food was delicious. I loved my pancake breakfast, my girlfriend loved the biscuits and gravy and the breakfast sandwich. Will definitely go back!
