Quite but full Atmosphere, my Queen wanted to come back to Ayers Hotel for our 24 year Anniversary. we love the decor and the feel of old luxury. Polanco is attached to the main hall and provided an excellent experience, and the food is worth the premium if you value quality. The staffing on both sides helped us have a wonderful experience. Thank You. .

We had a great experience at this restaurant. First, the manager was very kind and make us feel very much welcomed. Second, the food was delicious, we ordered the chicharrón de rib-eye, the guacamole and the queso fundido and don’t get me started with the salsas. Last, and most important, they even had a F1 Checo P Drink!! Great drink by te way!! I will give a 10/10 stars since the service was great, the food was amazing and the waiters were very nice! We are very grateful for the friendly tequila shots and we will definitely come back to try the New York steak!

Best time every. The Polanco and this beautiful Ayres hotel gave me just what I needed to celebrate by 60th, Last Holiday themed, birthday. Four days being a Queen was just as I imagined it. The food was in 60 years some of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for helping my dream come true.

Food was so delicious. I had ribeye cooked medium with potatoes and cabbage. Chef’s kiss. Waiter wasn’t all that friendly but wasn’t rude either. Atmosphere was beautiful as well. We had half hour wait although there was plenty of empty tables.

I came here to the Aries Hotel for a work meeting. We existed thru the restaurant and I was definitely feeing the vibes. The green couch for sure caught my eye, its my color. Since then Ive had countless dinner dates here. Dinner is upscale mexican modern style I would say. I always have the cucumber margarita. The Tomahawk steak is the way to go especially if its for 2. After dinner, I do tend to walk around the bottom half of the hotel and admire the decor or maybe sit by the fireplace.

I went on Friday 4/7/23 to have dinner with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. The service was great, the waiters were polite and attentive. We ordered a dozen of oysters as starter, unfortunately they tasted funny not a good flavor; my daughter had 2 and I had 3. I told the waiter that they had an odd flavor and we were not going to finish eating them. I asked the waiter if they were fresh, he said they should be. I told him I wasn’t so sure they were fresh, and he took them away. My daughter and I continued to dine. The steaks were not the best for the high price. My bill was $322.98 + tip. A day later my daughter and I have food poisoning from eating the oysters. You would think that a “high end” restaurant would make sure they serve the best quality of food to their customers, but not this place. Avoid dining at this restaurant at all cost.

Polanco takes a modern Mexican twist to a classic steakhouse concept. The decor and setting sets a mood immediately upon arrival. The service was excellent. The drinks were good. The “Ink” was a unique take on Mezcal that works wonderfully. The hot street corn was finger licking good. Their take on guacamole was unique and daring. Adding cheese and capers to the mix of guacamole may offend traditional sensibilities, but with an open mind you may just enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed their take on it, though I’d still prefer an old fashioned guacamole. We ordered the New York bone in and the wagyu sirloin. Their was a noticeable difference between the two. The sirloin wasn’t anything special as far as steak. Very bland. However the bone in New York was fabulous, flavorful with a hint of marble like ribeye flavor.

Been reading about this place for a couple of months. Decided to visit and loved it. Great atmosphere, great staff, and best of all great food. Menu is similar to Fleming’s with a Mexican flare and additions. Mexican street corn appetizer was awesome. Steaks were prepared as ordered and very flavorful. Tomahawk Pork Chop was tender and juicy.
