I passed this place a lot of times and finally stopped the stuffed cabbage was really sour tasting and I felt embarrassed in front of the couple people in there because I have a lot of tattoos and she asked for my ID because I was paying with a card buy didn’t ask for ID to the 2 people in front of me when they paid with a card as well

Bought a poppy seed roll last weekend when I drove through Runemead on my way to AC. THE WORST I’ve ever had! It was so stale all the poppy seed fell out when I cut it. Didn’t look like any “roll” I’ve ever had! One big mass of DRY poppy seed stuck in the middle of the STALE pastry! Suggest they check their stock for OLD PRODUCT as well as learn how to do a proper roll. I wasted my money on a subpar product! If I could give it no stars I would. FYI, The store was closed today when I drove back home to Maryland so couldn’t return it. VERY, VERY, DISAPPOINTED!

Polish sausage and gawomkeys were delicious. Wish we would have gotten more. Time and weather and wind were just not on our side. The strawberry cookies were really great, hard to explain but very tasty. Sorry about the spelling of the stuffed cabbage

Having read through the reviews that the owners and the “Old Lady” behind the counter being rude and unfriendly, I was worried. Totally different experience. The “Old Lady” was awesome !!! She was helpful, friendly and kind. Great choices of pierogie and types of Kielbasa. Won’t hesitate to go back.

Nothing to write home about. Very small store. Owners/workers are not friendly and in fact kind of rude. No prices on most of goods. Aside from the fresh kielbasi you can probably skip the rest. Was disappointed in the amount of fresh/prepared foods and desserts. Pierogies were frozen and so where the potatoes pancakes. No prices until you get up to the register and they were $9 for twelve pierogies and $12 for six potato pancakes. Should have made the trip to Philly and gone to Cwerz.

Went to get farmers cheese….ended up buying all they had…3&1/2 lbs. I usually buy the 3 lb. logs but they were out. They won’t be in till next week. I usually buy 2 or 3 of them when we are making perogies. Love this place though….best kilbasa around. It’s a bit of a drive but so worth it. Love that they speak polish…I don’t understand a word of it. LOL

Walked in not knowing what to get or expect. Met the owner whose name was Christine and was she super helpful. She readily answered all of my questions and even gave me some recommendations on which pierogies and which kielbasa to try. Went home and tried the recommendations and was immediately grateful for her help. The kielbasa was nice and smokey. The pierogies were delectable. Definitely recommend and will go again
