It’s my 1st time at this establishment. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The dining room is clean.. The food is delicious, tender meats and tasty sides. We ordered the parrillada for two and we finished it all. The service needs improvement. Once they bring your order, don’t expect them to come back to check on you. Prices are a but steep, though. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location. Come check them out for yourself.

A hidden gem in San Antonio. This place has quintessential hole-in-the-wall vibes.

Delicious finger liking good! The chicken is season and well flavored the church chicken is juicy my goodness the chicken skins is so yummy. Comes with rice and grilled onion and charcoaled jalapeños. The salsa is to die for. Comes with corn tortillas and you must try their beans they’re so good they have chicharon in them delicious we come a few times a week. Sooo good

My pet peeve is when you purchase a $4 cup of rice and there’s 2 inches missing off the top. Why not just fill it to the top rice is one of the cheapest things you can purchase wholesale. There is no need to be like Bill Millers. This is not the first time it’s happened, the other time I went thru the drive thru & purchased a large rice & bean for over $16 for 32 oz cups. The rice was again skimped off the top and the beans were mostly bean broth. If this has happened to you, make sure to express your concerns. Eating out has become quite expensive these days for restaurants to be ripping us off.

Great place to go. You can feed one to a family of four. Not much to choose from which makes it easier. There are burgers and fries for the kids but the name of the place is what you go for. My go to is the meal for two people with half a chicken, beef fajitas half a pound, and a sausage. Yum! Along with it is a side of charro beans, rice, and corn tortillas. I’m not a drinker so for those looking for a beer and dinner this is not the place for it. Family friendly. They do have two locations on Culebra, the newer place is less busy. Must check it out. I think the food is moderately priced. The meal for two, I pay $30 before tip.

Great little place, a little small and very noisy, and gets filled up fast, so get there early. Food is delicious and priced moderately, and service is superb. The only issue is the checkout, pay at the counter, and it gets hectic, need for the staff to be able to pay at the table. I still recommend this establishment. Parking has improved but still limited spaces.

They always mess up our to go order but the flavor is good so we keep coming back only to be disappointed again. Check your order at the store every time because they won’t believe you if you complain.

Love this place. I’m here every Wednesday. I order 5 whole chickens with 5 beans, and it feeds 9 grown men for under $120. Can’t beat that.

Kind of a “hole in a wall” little gem. Great charcoal grilled chicken, but the ribs where nothing to write home about, but then again it is not “ribs asados”! The chicken has great flavor. Pair it with tortillas and the other sides and you have a fantastic meal.
