Great drink and food specials here. My friends and I always get the $18 Coronarita drink it’s a must here. Food is your average TeX Mex. We usually get empanadas, chicken/ steak quesadillas, and fajitas. They have nice happy hour specials. Service here is always good and food comes out rather quickly. Seating is perfect for all group sizes. Parking lot is wide open. Perfect place if your in the area to grab some quick drinks and food

If you want a meaty burrito this is the place. It is nothing but meat, literally. That’s probably why it’s on the pricey side too.

Superb Mexican restaurant right off of 200. Molcas are definitely something to try if you’ve never had them before, but otherwise everything is very good here!

Not sure how Pollo Mex receives a 4.2 star….from the hostess to the food was horrible. Let me begin with my drink I had order a captain Morgan with sprite and saw black particles swimming in my drink when I asked the waitress she said it was coming Friday from the fountain soda didn’t ask if she could replace it with something else, not sure if she expecting me to drink it! We order beef fajitas and by the picture you can see that the meat was raw. Food had no flavor… not coming back!!!

A decent spot for dinner. Gets a little smoky in there sometimes because of the sizzling steak dishes. The Paella is pretty good and the Csdillac Margarita has a kick.

Shame. We used to love this place. Ordered online 2/26/21 and roast chicken is completely dry and shrunk. Inedible.

Waiting too long to get dry chicken. Sent it back waiting another 25 mins ended taking it to go. It is my first and last time eating there.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. The food used to be REALLY good but the last few visits have been very disappointing. I am quite sure that there has been a change in ownership as EVERYTHING has gone downhill recently. On my last visit, we started, as usual, with the chips and salsa. The salsa is not even close to being as good as it has been in the past and the chips were not fresh. Because we did not have a great experience on the previous visit, we decided to just pay for our drinks and leave. I miss the Pollo Mex back in it’s hay-day when mama was manning the front door and the two brothers (the owners) were always there ensuring quality was high and customers were being taken care of and unfortunately I will probably never go back.

They re-did their menu in the past year, streamlining it significantly. I have to admit, I miss the old menu and the traditional waiter service. I think the new place is a step down from what it was before but I’m willing to give it another chance. They don’t have heat lamps to sit outside so I’m not sure if they’re aiming for outside diners in the winter.

Way overpriced for what basically is a TV dinner, no spices or anything. Even the steak tacos are literally 2 pieces of steak wrapped in a small tortilla. The plainest mexican food ive ever had. Staff is nice though.
