I actually found Pompeo’s on Google Maps minutes before driving into their parking lot. My wife and I noticed there was only one other car in the lot at around 6pm on a Saturday! She thought that was a bad sign and wanted to leave. My brother and sister-in-law were in the car next to us and also hesitated. I encouraged all to give the place a chance, plus it was raining and I didn’t want to drive around looking for another Italian restaurant. We stepped inside and didn’t see a soul in sight. We called out a lone woman who I believe was the owner came out and seated us. She was the only person we saw in the restaurant the entire time we were there. She was wonderful and attended to our needs and we all enjoyed talking with her every time she came out with a drink or dish. We couldn’t figure out why the place was empty on a Saturday night as the food was excellent! If you’ve read my previous restaurant reviews, you know my German wife is extremely picky about restaurant food because she’s a great cook in her own right. Well, she loved her penne ala vodka and took half home and ate it for lunch the next day and she NEVER does that! I loved the flavor of my Margherita pizza with ham, however, I was disappointed that it didn’t come with fresh cut tomatoes and basil. The calamari appetizer was delicious, but a little on the salty side. My brother loved his Veal w/pasta and my sister-in-law loved her stuffed cod w/broccoli. The prices for the dishes were very reasonable in the mid teens and plentiful. I would love to keep Pompeo’s to myself and not share them to the public because it was nice to not having to wait in line or spend an arm and a leg for their delicious food. Go check them out and you’ll thank me later. Oh, and did I mention the warm fresh Italian bread and fresh house salad?

Most importantly, the food was fresh and tasty! We went for an early dinner and were the only customers there so we were apprehensive. Turns out that meant we got all the attention from the little old lady in the kitchen! She served us like we were family! Loved it. Good food. Clean. Food was hot. Service great.

We had a private event here, buffet style we had many options to choose from and all the food was very good. We had a chicken, fish and pasta option also stuffed breads, roasted potatoes and salad for $21 a person

I eat Italian food at least 3 times a week. Like most Americans, it’s usually the go to genre of food when thinking about going out to eat. Wether it be a pizza to go, a romantic dinner, or a place to bring the family. This is THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD I have ever eaten hands down. I am booking a large banquet event here in June of 2021. I asked the owners if we would be able to sample their menu options for our large event. To put it simply, with out making this an essay about how amazing literally everything was, from the starter bread rolls, to the main white wine and lemon chicken. The food was out of this world. They play smooth 50’s music which brings you back to golden days of feeling love for the simple things in life. And the owner’s GENUINE delight to having customers enjoy their food. I really can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re reading this review, please take the time to check this place out, they’re currently struggling like many American restaurants amid this pandemic, and we CANNOT let a gem like this go under.

I was there for a bridal shower. Food was decent the potatoes that came with the buffet were salty and over oiled. The eggs were Bland and warm. The fruit salad was great the salad was good warm. The food salad was great the salad was good but the dressings were not labeled. As someone with a gluten allergy they were very accommodating.
