If you want the typical “fast food” experience, go somewhere else. If you want a real meal in a clean, family/home style establishment with great service, then this is the place! I travel through the area sporadically and stop in every single time. It’s as close to home cooking as you can get in that area. Plain and simple. Always a great meal at a very reasonable cost. Doesn’t matter if I get a steak, the buffet, or both. 5 stars from me.

Went in with my family about 4:30 on Sunday afternoon. We all ordered the buffet. Everything we tried was either cold or over cooked. Have traveled all over the world and I am quite sure this is the absolute worst buffet ever. Service was just as bad. The woman at the register had no personality and the server didn’t know there was more to her jib than slamming our drinks on the table. All around a bad experience

Plates had what appeared to be dried food on them. I checked several they all had it to some degree. It scratched off easily with my nail. I pointed it out to management they just said”Those plates are wore out that isn’t food”.

Everything was much better than the last couple of years that I have been there. My sirloin tips were cooked just as I ordered, my wife and kids love the Monterey chicken. Salad bar was fresh.

we went to ponderosa and my pop had a cockroach in in an I didn’t realize it til after I drank it all. the manager on duty stated they spray twice a week for cockroaches and the doctor at the E.R claimed that the poison was still in the cockroach as it was in my soda. Still having side effects. Will never return to this restaurant again.
