The food was exceptional! The tomato katsu that we ordered was something very unique. They use fresh and high quality ingredients here and we can definitely taste the difference. Overall, great food and ambience. A little more on the high end side but worth paying more for the food and service.

Visited two times in two weeks. The service was really great! You can’t go wrong with the menu if you have an open mind and palate. Both dinners they brewed fresh coffee for us and it was amazing. It’s pricy, table of three haven’t got out of there without spending over 200 but we weren’t trying to either. Didnt feel rushed. As far as wine goes, buy the bottle 😉 and tip them well.

A+ experience! It is so nice to have a seafood forward fine dining addition to Grover Beach. The service was warm & friendly, attentive without being intrusive. We appreciated the detailed info on the menu. The sake cocktails were lovely and the food was expertly prepared. Our foursome didn’t have a single disappointment. The carrot ginger soup was smooth and flavorful. I had the garlic shrimp and am quite fussy about grits and these were divine…creamy and rich. We were too full for dessert, next time for sure! Thanks for a great evening.

Great new spot. Came here for girls night! Will be coming back. Hopefully they can offer cocktails soon. beer and wine selections was great and the menu is hip and fresh. I had the black cod. My wife had the mushroom risotto. We shared a vermouth cocktail. Everything was very yummy. Things that looked great that I would like to try are the duck egg rolls and the barbecued oysters.

Gorgeous restaurant with a wonderful local wine selection. A great place to go out with the girls or be taken on a nice date by the beach. Beautiful ambiance. Highly recommend the crab cakes.
