If you’re hungry come here for breakfast or lunch and you won’t need to eat for a week afterwards. I stop by every few months and it’s always good. Plates are definitely shareable if you’re a normal sized eater. I get the omelette often but the biscuits and gravy are excellent too. Actually everything I’ve tried has been good. Definitely worth a visit…if your passing by on IH45 take the exit, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent. We arrived on the Sunday after Thanksgiving; the busiest travel day of the year. It was packed. Luckily a table became available, which was very quickly cleaned. The server brought us menus promptly. On asking about gluten free food, he asked the lady in charge to speak to us. She was very helpful and advised us what was available.

We stopped in on a Saturday on our way traveling from Central Texas to East Texas and saw the parking lot was full – which is always a good sign when you’re looking for a place to eat in an unfamiliar area. My husband I both had the chicken enchiladas which were very good. The meat was seasoned so the enchiladas were very flavorful, delicious, and served hot. And it was nice to see that in a time when restaurants are trying to skimp on staff (or just unable to even get staff), Ponte’s had plenty of employees so the service was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.
