Ponzu was a cool experience. The menu is small for a sushi restaurant, but the rolls are delicious. The restaurant put more of a focus on specialty rolls. I rank this as one of my top places in the area. It accommodated both those that like raw fish and those that don’t. Other review suggest they have a great happy hour. I’ll be back to check that out.

After taking in a movie, it was time for a post-dinner time, pre-bedtime snack and sushi at Ponzu did the trick. Service was quick, the food hit the spot and the price was what you would expect in Aksarben — not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I believe the pics are of the Tsunami roll and the Crunchy Cali. We go here at least once every couple weeks, and we will keep coming back.

Messed up a take out order and refused to help me fix it saying there was no managers at the time there to help me. Quit literally said all they can do is take a message. Absolutely awful experience. Usually I enjoy my food from here but whatever management took over completely ruined it clearly.

Poki was not fresh and very tough. Korean Kebabs were very disappointing. It had no flavor w/o the sauce. Not was I would expect. Sushi was ok. Our server was very pleasant and very apologetic that the food was not to our approval.
