I recently ordered from Popeyes using their online system for a pickup order. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the door was closed and the sign directed me to the drive-through. I assumed that since I had already ordered and paid online, I could bypass the drive-through and just pick up my order. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

This location tends to have fresher items then their Waterbury counterparts. My husband and I each bought a Classic Chicken Sandwich for ourselves and when I asked for “extra pickles” on mine, they delivered! The bag the sandwich comes in even had pickles in it! It was all absolutely delicious!! We also tried the strawberry biscuit and it was definitely better than the Waterbury locations I’ve tried, but still not gooey fresh like they show in the commercial.

Highly disappointed and was highly disgusted with the food chicken was overly cooked hard as a brick, didn’t recive the gravy with the mash potatoes, employee was rude and arguing with me, manger was highly unpleasant and unprofessional arguing with me and belittling me in front of other customers. Would give it 0 stars if I could. I will never return to such an unpleasant place, worse experience ever!!

Put in takeout order, and it took me 15 mins to drive there. Went to drive thru to pick it up (which was empty) and it took 5 minutes for someone to ask me for my order. They then told me I needed to park because it would be another 10-15 minutes to make the sandwich patty. I got less than 20 dollars of food. Since no one said they would run food out to me, i went inside, greeted the staff (resturant mostly empty) and stated my order # and items again so they can just hand it to me when its ready. The same staff member proceeded to walk by me outside, then wandered back in and asked for my name and order again and then I recieved my food. I got a 5 piece special and all my chicken was extremely dried out. There was so many things wrong for a restaurant that wasnt even busy. I shouldnt have to wait 30+ mins for fast food. There were a few other patrons who were also quitely chatting amongst themselves wondering how much longer they were going to have to wait for their food.

Ordered a 5 piece chicken tenders the lady said to wait at the door in front of the building. 10 minutes go by sitting in the car so I get out and see what’s taking so long. Mind you it wasn’t very busy and other people through the drive through after me are getting their tender meals without waiting. Inside the building now waiting an additional 10 minutes for my food.. so much for it being fast food. 0/10

Got my order completely wrong.. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while people walked by me and ignored me. When I asked him where the other part of my order was, he told me that I didn’t order that. Which I most definitely did. Then he gave me an attitude. The employees were cursing, and I wasn’t the only one waiting for long periods of time. They seemed annoyed that we were there. I mean, I get it. It’s a fast food place, not Ruth Chris, but still, have a little professionalism. Won’t be going back. Plus, for the almost $40 I paid to feed me and my son. I got three very small containers. It’s not worth it!
