This place used to be horrible from the long waits to the food not being good and the rudeness from staff and management not caring but I must say the new GM that took over has this Popeyes location running right with delicious juicy chicken. Went in today and he assisted me with ordering 2 specials and went above and beyond to make sure I had what I wanted in my order. Sorry didn’t get his name but thank you for a great experience Mr GM and keep up the good work.

This Popeyes is pretty good. Staff is always nice and friendly, restaurant itself always has a lot of foot traffic and seems like it’s doing well. Food is what you’d expect from Popeyes. Honestly, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly relaxed and down to earth food experience.

Used drive thru, order taker was distracted, talking to someone else, had to give order twice. Drove to pick up window, he handed my soda to me and then left for the day. Two people asked what I ordered, and they didn’t have it. They showed me a receipt, which wasn’t legible. The toner had long run out. They claimed they couldn’t void or refund my money. My sandwich was cold, they finally got the side right, the Cajun fries were dumped in the bag. I have not been back.

Usually a good experience when I go but this time I had to haggle over my order & I just wasn’t in the mood to do so. In the end I kinda got what I asked for and happy I did in restaurant pick up instead of drive thru cause I had I driven all the way home to have the wrong order I really would’ve been upset.

I visited the Popeye’s restaurant in Norwalk CT. The restaurant was very clean. It was later at night, but not too late, about 7:30pm. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a five piece spicy chicken tenders combo meal. It came with a biscuit and mashed potatoes. The chicken fingers were very good. The biscuit was also delicious because it was soaked in butter. The mashed potatoes were eh. Not the best and not the worst by any means. I’d rate them a 6 out of ten. The chicken fingers were excellent. Even though they were the spicy ones they were not overwhelmingly spicy and had just enough kick in my opinion. The only issue I had was that it took about 10 minutes waiting for my chicken fingers because they were out of them and I had to wait for more to be made. I found this odd because it wasn’t very late and it seems like that would be a common item so they should have had them ready to go as it’s not a made to order style restaurant. The chicken sandwich was ready immediately so I ended up eating that first while waiting on my chicken fingers combo. The sandwich was definitely good but does it deserve all the hype it received in the media….I think not. It was good but not write home or stab someone in line over the last one (like happened multiple times) good. Over all I enjoyed the meal and would definitely eat there again. I should note this was my first time ever eating at Popeye’s restaurant. While not the servers fault for the chicken fingers not being ready he was extremely polite and appolgized multiple times for the amount of time it took so I give him credit for that. He was very professional and good at his job. He kept checking on multiple orders and was on top of everything. I give credit where credit is due and he deserved it. So yes I would eat there again but was it deserving of all the hype the media gave it….no. Not in my opinion.
