I gave this location 1 try too many… the food is trash!. The chicken looked and tasted old, the red beans and rice look like it was cooked last week and this was at 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon. This location is giving Popeye’s brand a bad reputation, they should look into this franchisee. We appreciate you being in the neighborhood but we expect and demand a quality product.

Food was absolutely terrible, I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches, ordered from the drive thru when I got home they were not spicy and one of the sandwiches was hard and chewy like rubber, the bun just fell apart, the drive thru employee was pleasant and nice but that doesn’t make up for the nasty food, if you’re thinking about eating here you may as well hand your money over to a stranger and have them punch you In the stomach because even that would be a better experience than what I had.

Location said power had been our so there would be a wait. Did not mind that but when I got the food home it tasted awful. You could tell that the chicken was cooked at a high temperature to play catch up. I will give this location a second chance and hopefully I’ll have a better review.

New restaurant just opened. I went through the drive through for lunch. Quite a few people there. The piece of chicken (chicken breast) I got doesn’t taste right, like maybe not fresh or not cooked properly. I don’t know but it’s not good and I threw half of it away. With the number of people at the restaurant and the fact that it’s lunch time, everything should be fresh. I have been to several Popeyes restaurants and know how the chicken is supposed to taste but this one is different and definitely not for the better. The lid for the beans and rice was not properly secured on the container so some of my rice and beans spilled in the bag. I had high hopes for this restaurant. Maybe there’s growing pains and will get better over time. I hope so anyway. The customer service was good though which is why I am giving it 2 stars.

They basically were out of the basic chicken items. I’m assuming that because it was newly built, they didn’t order enough supply and demand inventory. We will go back in 6 months for an update to see the growth and order, and hopefully, they will have some tenders and a variety of peices of chicken other than a leg and couple thighs. However, the drive through order taker young lady was very pleasant when saying no, we are out of this and that.

My husband and I went through the drive through and it was a little more than 30 minutes before closing and they were saying they were out of pretty much everything. We couldn’t even get fries because they said they were out. The only options were popcorn shrimp, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese or a spicy thigh. Then while we were waiting they were turning people behind us away saying sorry we’re out of food.

I have been here a total of three times. It is further from the N. Henry location but it’s fine because I shop mostly at groceries on Hudson Bridge so it isn’t a bother.
