Parking lot empty during busiest time for lunch which is usually a “red flag” for me. Red flag #2 was the smell of sour mop water all through the lobby.. Cashiers and other employees were very nice. Ordered classic sandwich meal. Sandwich was dry and bland. I thought Popeyes chicken was about flavor and seasoning. Not this one. Also, the mashed potatoes and that 1cc of gravy they put in it was not good at all. Instant tators suck. Especially when they haven’t been stirred good. Lumps of dry spuds all in it. Wont be going back. Trust me when I say you don’t wanna see the pics I took of the tators.

A few hours after a hurricane is not to time to stomp out like a spoiled big child. Cuz they open at 11 no t 1030 BECAUSE WE JUST HAD A HURRICANE! Doors opened on time! Starbucks opens NINE HOURS late today according to Google maps and Coodos for that. Im here chilling at a fried chicken hit restaurant and n a few I’ll eat. They falsely advertise $3.99 chicken sandwich and have been for months but charge over $5 every time I ask for the price flashing on their Marquette they say that’s the old owners price?? They also are incapable off adding regular to mayo to the spicy sandwich or able to put it on the side. I will never go back and want to insure everyone knows they falsely advertise and have for months and will not honor their own signage, are rude when you ask and won’t even put regular mayo on the side and do not understand how to add a condiment to a sandwich they are charging $2 more for.. do you want them handling your food or money??

First of all, I love me some Popeyes normally…especially when I visit it in other areas, so I know the typical Louisiana taste that popeyes chicken should have. This locations chicken is so flavorless, over cooked, and I ordered a 5 piece and was given all white meat! 3 large dry flavorless chicken breasts I threw away. The girl who was at the window offered to make me dark meat but I was in a rush and had to be somewhere. But why are yall given customers all white meat? Lol…and it’s not tasty at all? This is the worse chicken I’ve tasted in Waycross GA. Hands down and I hate that because the workers were very nice. The food just isnt good and they give you chicken that’s old, all white meat that be overcooked and barely fill your sides up.

Waited half an hour. No food. Asked about it. Almost got no response at all, then they decided to argue that we didn’t order fries. Showed the receipt, which showed we ordered fries, and only THEN did the food start getting made at all. What happened to this place?

The young guy taking our order was great. The lobbie lights were off so it was very dim. They didn’t have any lids, straws, or napkins out. Not sure what the issue was but it seems people were just hanging around. People were coming in and angry because their orders weren’t coming and it was not busy at all. Not sure if that was because it looked closed being the inside lights were off. I will say the food was good though.

My husband and I ordered 2 white piece meals and received a box with a thigh and a wing. The other box was a leg and thigh. We notified the staff in a nice way and explained the situation. We waited assuming our order would be fixed, only for the staff member to return and ask if we wanted a refund. We said yes. A few moments later, the staff member returned saying, “my manager fixed the order correctly, here’s your chicken!” The chicken wasn’t hot and led us to believe they possibly did something to the order. We would’ve accepted a nice “We don’t have any white meat!” Why purposely give us the wrong order as if we aren’t going to check? Just be honest and do things right!
