My family ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, 1 fry, and 2 mashed potatoes. It took 30 minutes to get our food. There was one other family in the lobby. When we asked about the food the first time, the person behind the counter verified what we had ordered. We witnessed one of the people preparing the food, playing on their cell phone and touching our food directly afterwards without washing their hands. When we finally got the food, two of the sandwiches were too cold to eat. I was too frustrated so I ate my room temp sandwich. The person that helped us at the very end was nice and apologized but the rest of the staff was too busy going in and out of the bathroom and going outside. I won’t be going back to this location. The food is great when it’s warm, but the service leaves much to be desired.

Manipulating the drive trough line by not taking orders. 4 cars through the drive through in 30 min. Asked the manager about this and she was completely rude. This place will not last much longer if they cannot get competent help… STAY AWAY

Was picking up lunch for myself and a couple of coworkers. One ordered online, and the order took 20 minutes to be completed after I arrived 10 minutes after the prep time. I had to place 2 orders while there, and had to talk to 4 different people to place 2 orders of strips and fries because no one could understand the orders. It took another 45 minutes to complete those orders.

This place operates at a glacial pace. Had I not ordered online and paid beforehand, I’d have given up waiting and left ages ago. I sat at the drive-thru intercom for 15 minutes with no response. I went into the dining room and confirmed my order at the register. At the time of writing this, it has been over half an hour, and I still haven’t received the food I paid for. I’m still waiting! Don’t make my mistake. Stay far away from this place.

Have been to many Popeyes in the central Florida areas. This Ms. Maria at the drive through was very nice and very professional. She was just the best all we have to say. Line was quick great service all the way around!!!! Very sweet if she isn’t a manager she ought to be!!!!!!!!! Other Popeyes are not the same..!

Good god what’s happened to any kind of service? Drove all the way here just to sit at the drive thru intercom for 10 minutes. I asked if everything was ok and if I could order (there were 3 cars in the parking lot) and a lady responded beyond rude “We only have 3 people here so you’ll just have to wait. I’m assuming the 3 cars in the parking lot were the employees but I waited another 5 minutes and asked again but no response at all so I left. Went to McDonalds in mount Dora and they actually had a packed parking lot and got my order and my food in less than 5 minutes. Wasted gas, time plus disappointment cause the whole point was to get Popeyes -not McDonalds. When this place first opened it was on point but it’s obviously declined. Sorry your short staffed but being rude and waiting 15 minutes at an intercom when there’s an empty parking lot is a problem. Won’t be back.

I should have clearly read almost every one star review this place has before giving them a chance. The pure incompetence and unprofessionalism of the taller heavier set lady taking my order was unreal. After finally ordering a simple 8pc family meal they said i had to wait 10 min for a fresh set of chicken which of course is an inconvenience but nevertheless i just waited peacefully. 25min later im still waiting. I truly wish to know if the hiring manager is okay with just having anyone work the position. The level of work ethic has simply just diminished.

Dining room was closed. Drive thru from arrival to ordering was 25 minutes. After ordering, we waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes for our food which was wrong. We had to wait for someone to come out to ask for corrections, condiments, etc. Even better, while the staff was going in and out they were laughing at the cars waiting like they could care less. The actual food tasted good and was fresh when we received it but bmwe could have had a sit down meal for the amount of time it took.

This store needs to work on several things. Service was slow and there seemed to be lots of issues with orders not being correct. Our order was missing all of the biscuits. I saw the manager trying to do the best she could but still struggling. I called when I got home and she said she would give me the missing items if I brought in my receipt.
