We had been seeing the commercials for Popeyes and my husband had not been there in many years, so we decided to give it a try. He ordered a 3 piece chicken meal- he received a breast and assuming a leg or chicken tender. The fries were old and cold. And the “jalapeño poppers” were nothing more than plain jalapeños. We asked for honey mustard and received Mardi gras sauce.

This is one of the worst Popeyes that I have ever been too. I love the food, but this place in particular never gets my order right, and they always blame it on Covid and lack of staff, I’m sorry but Covid is over and you have two people working, you should be able to make the order right. Not once have I gone here and gotten everything I ordered right the first time. It’s very frustrating when you pay $15 for a meal just to get someone thing you didn’t want. I won’t be giving this one a chance anymore. I would rather drive to Gadsden and get it there because I know that they will always give me what I ordered.

I have visited the Boaz store many times in hopes of having a peaceful dinner before I head home after work. Sadly, the dining room is always closed, so I’ve taken my business elsewhere. I can’t believe they never open their doors for business. I don’t enjoy dining in my car, so the drive thru will never be an option for me. Your loss Popeyes.

I’m disappointed with my experience here. We stopped to get a quick meal, and ordered chicken tenders. What we got was not tenders, they had bones which we don’t eat. The mashpotatos were subpar at best and have way too much seasoning. The price was ridiculous, $10 for a 3 price tender meal! We likely won’t be visiting again.

I drove up Sunday afternoon about 1:15 with 1 car in front of me. I understand everyone is experiencing a lack of employees but it’s also paying attention. I ordered 1 3 strip spicy combo with fries and a coke, 1 dinner with 5 piece strip half spicy, half mild, with mashed potatoes and gravy and 1 2 piece dark meat with mashed potatoes and gravy. Total was $27.33. I had my money ready when I got to the window. The gal took my bills but before I could give her the coins, she turned to the register. Got the full money paid and she gives me a bag with 3 tenders, mashed potatoes, and a coke then closed the window. I sat there waiting for the rest of my food. She comes back with blacked ranch dipping sauce and closes the window. Again I wait. She comes back, I said I’m missing my 2 dinners. She told the other person I needed 2 dinners. The other gal brings those to the window and I confirm they have the sides. They didn’t, she brought them back to the back then back to me. I open them (one 2 piece spicy tenders, 1 3 piece mild tenders) and am still missing the 2 piece dark meat and told them. Basically I spent 15 minutes waiting and sending these 2 ladies back to bring me my correct food by the 5th time. The window gal constantly saying that she wouldnt be surprised if her coworker walks out because she can’t keep up.

Stopped in Boaz for a late meal after watching a basketball game in Albertville. The Manager (Michael) was awesome . Our food was fresh and he was courteous also. It was at 9pm I know they were close to closing but we never felt like it

Last time I was there had to leave because they didn’t have any chicken cooked , I went back later and got my chicken. But out of a 12 piece family meal I got 5 breast and the looked like they had been pressed .all in all I wish I hadn’t went there and this was after 5 o’clock. B st idea from me is either call in ahead of time and order your meal .

For starters I use the mobile app it comes in handy because after I ordered I live about 15 to 20 minutes from there drove all the way there they say oh it takes 30 minutes before we receive orders from the mobile app and then I proceeded to wait additional hour after getting there for my food not only did I have to wait in the hot sun because the dining room was locked after I finally got my food drove all the way home just to find out they gave me the wrong order I ordered three spicy chicken sandwiches I got chicken classic and the guy wearing the black Popeye shirt I guess he’s a manager even ask me two times what I ordered and then before they gave me my order they even proceeded to ask me again but this time it was a girl wearing an orange shirt and she said did you order chicken Classics I said no I ordered three spicy chicken sandwiches and I still got the wrong order if you don’t have anything to do and you would like to just waste time and money use the mobile app and go to Popeyes and Boaz
