Every stop here (which has only been two), when asking for a family dinner, o hear, “You gonna wait a minute.” Like I don’t know how long chicken takes to cook. Right? Anyway, chicken was good but they probably should YouTube how to keep cooked chicken fresh like Church’s.

I worked at Wetumpka Popeyes for almost 4 months,I was treated like I was a maid to everyone there,I was the so called janitor there,I had to clean everything up while the employees makes a mess. They would leave dirty dishes for me to wash trash all over the place,they would send me to Montgomery and Millbrook to pickup supplies and wouldn’t even pay me for my gas.Also on April 10 me and my wife went to get some food after she gotten off work,we order the 16 piece chicken with three side,when we got home to eat the chicken tasted awful, it didn’t have any seasoning it wasn’t fresh,they gave us some chicken that was cooked like around 4 or so.The mash potatoes wasn’t done right. It was 8 at night when we gotten our food. They will hired school kids to be fry cooks. I took my servsafe exam and passed it hoping to be a cook,but no, I get stuck doing the dirty work while others can cook and goof off all day long. This place is unprofessional and needs new management. They can’t keep items stocked up,they run out of stuff almost every day. I had to go in the freezer and break up the ice off the floor and clean it up, I stayed in the freezer working for about an hour one day and ending up catching Pneumonia almost. Good luck everyone going to this place.

Waited 15 minutes for my order while staff was talking about what was going on in their life’s and making other 5 customers wait even longer. After that they got some of my order wrong and wasn’t worth going back. They need to get there act together.

The food here tastes awful. The macaroni and cheese was half grease. The chicken was ridiculous. I waited 30 minutes and paid over 30 bucks just to toss in the trash. This is my second time going to the wetumpka location and my last. The chicken in Montgomery tastes totally different

Haven’t been to Popeyes in years and I now know why. Don’t know what’s going on with this place. We had a group of about 10 people show up to an empty restaurant at 5:00pm. Everyone ordered fairly quickly, then it took over an hour for the first person to get their food and an additional 30 minutes to finish the orders. Only giving this 2 stars because I could see the manager was stressed and over worked. They were out of sauces and fries, the tea was sour and some of the chicken was undercooked.

I was trying to go through the drive thru and I sat there for 30 minutes with 1 truck in front of me. All I ordered was some chicken nuggets. I watched them hand the gentleman in the truck his bag, then he had to hand it back to them because it was wrong. The bag was still opened when he handed it back and the girl at the window straightened everything up in the bag and sat it right next to the window again like she was fixing to hand it to someone else. So, I just pulled off. After someone else has already went through my food and touched it, I don’t want it.
