Quality in food and service has declined drastically over the years. We will not be back to this location. The staff are unfriendly and could care less if a customer is standing at the counter to place a order. Food is hit or miss. It may be fresh or it may have been sitting there awhile. Side portions are also hit or miss as well as quantity. One may be full the other may be half empty. Clear the staff out rehire new and have some oversight in food quality and customer service.

I asked for everything fresh. Every single piece of chicken was old. I paid almost forty dollar for some nasty chicken. What manager would let them give this chicken out. I asked for everything fresh and would have gladly waited. Get home and everything was old except for the fries. If I could give a zero I would have. Food cost is already high and to pay for nasty food is just sad on this business part.

STORYTIME: My brother was taking my nephew to his mom. So obviously, he stopped at Popeyes. He called and said this chicken tastes just like Amite and New Orleans’ chicken. (I DIDN’T BELIEVE HIM SO HE BOUGHT ME A SPECIAL) and I was impressed. I am so impressed that I go back the next day to get the same results, and it’s a failure. I asked the girl who was the cook the night before, and she said Marquis, so now when I go through the drive thru. I always ask if Marquis is there before I order. I have never seen him, but when he cooks the food, it is busting, busting. You can tell when he’s not there.

Byram, MS location-> grease covered door to enter the restaurant, bathrooms were filthy and there were flies. Then, I went out to the counter to order and there were dozens more flies in the kitchen and dining room! We left promptly. Very disappointing as we’d had excellent food in a clean restaurant previously in Jackson, MS.

The best chicken ,but can not get an order correct for nothing. Ordered a family feast and asked to substitute a breast for a thigh with Cajun rice and French fries. All the chicken was dark meat, Cajun rice was sour, and the French fries were fried too hard to eat. Called for an hour, and no one ever answered the phone . Just put a bad taste in my mouth literally .

Grew up in byram and this location has never really been A1. However it still managed to drop in quality. Wasn’t the worst though. If I’m stuck in byram, this would be 1/3 places I would eat.

The line moved very slow, they asked me to park and I thought I would get hot fresh and but I didn’t, fries were cold and I was missing a piece of chicken. And when I went in for them to correct it they gave me a leg instead of a breast that came with the meal.

San the shift manager shouldn’t be a manager!! She has no leadership ethics!! Horrible fast food restaurant ever!! I ordered, 1 breast, 2 wings and 2 thighs. I get to the window and they tell me that they don’t have wings and I have to wait 13 minutes, I’ve waited 15 minutes and they still haven’t brought my food to me!

Great customer service the manager is awesome. Very attentive and engaging. This is probably the cleanest Popeyes I’ve ever been in. Our food came out fresh and hot. Great experience. I’d give more stars if I could.
