This is a good Popeye’s. The staff was attentive, and the girl who took my order took extra care to make sure my large order was correct. My wife ordered the Ghost pepper wings, but I was not impressed with their size, and they lacked the “heat” you would expect from something called Ghost Pepper. The rest of my order was great, Red Beans and rice were spot on. Biscuits were hot and fresh, and my 2 piece spicy chicken was made fresh to order! In fact, I didn’t see a bunch of cooked chicken baking and drying out under heat lamps. So it took a little longer to get my order together, but for me, it was well worth the wait. Keep up the hard work. You all ROCK!

I don’t live local but this is closest location to me and it’s over an hour drive. I’ve been here 4 times this year and always have to wait no matter what time of day it is. Appeared to be short staffed but employee was on the phone in dining area while customers waited. Even stood in line and watched a party of 4 wait over 5 minutes to be waited on but left. Food was great but service sucks at this location.

Third visit, all 3 extremely slow service, two times correct change or card only. Last time ordered shrimp and was ask to pull up, waited for 14 minutes before I got my meal. Love their chicken and shrimp was good but service very poor

Good shrimp and chicken,. Update on 3/3/21. Food was good but the worst behavior I have seen in a while from a manager. Belittled and caused an employee to quit in front of me while I was ordering my food. I felt so sorry for the young lady. I could not imagine how the lady felt. Then manager looked over to another employee and said about time. Horrible behavior from a manager. Ridiculous

I have only doordashed here. They appear to be incredibly understaffed or undertrained. 3/3 visits, (in lobby and drive thru) the wait time was quite lengthy. In lobby, speaking to a cashier took a long time just to tell someone I’m there for a previously ordered pickup. The staff was very polite and smiley tho

Absolute JOKE. NEVER. NOT ONCE, in about 8 times have they ever had chicken ready. CHICKEN!! Its all they do. I went in this time to watch. Took the TEAM LEADER 15 mins to put the chicken in the fryer. Absolutely cannot wait for this joke to go bankrupt. It will. The entire town is laughing at it. 1-star is too much.

I was visiting KY on business when I stopped in at this location. I’ve also been to one other, while out there. Of the two, this one had the lesser quality chicken (a tad greasy compared), but it was still tasty. Staff were friendly and engaging.
