I’ve been here twice and both times got exactly what I came for! I’ve been to Popeye’s in the past, but haven’t been to them in a while until I recently moved nearby. Unlike KFC, they were able to accommodate a small request I had for my meal, even late into the day. The second time I came, it was only two hours to close, and the staff was still working hard to fry more chicken for all of the customers. They seem to be understaffed sometimes, yet they still managed to serve all of the customers in line yesterday night when I ate here. The chicken is delicious and so are their fries and biscuits — all of which were still hot by the time I got home. The staff here deserves more support because they seem to be often serving a lot of customers! I’ll definitely be a return customer so as long as the food remains good!

They said the regular chicken was frozen and they only had blackened chicken. Apparently that is common from the other reviews. So I got the blackened bacon chicken sandwich, well paid for it but never got it. Popcorn shrimp I had to spit it out, super spicy. My son the spicy lover had to spit it out too. The chicken tender was the size of a McDonald nugget. They called me honey and said that’s how it comes. They were going to do something for the bacon sandwich but I just wanted them to know I was not happy with anything.

Stopped here after a long day from flying on our way back home, and all we wanted was their fried chicken sandwiches. We were told that they couldn’t serve the fried chicken sandwiches because they were still FROZEN… SERIOUSLY?! We got to the restaurant at 5:15 pm and their most popular food item is FROZEN?! She said yeah sorry you can have the blackened chicken sandwiches instead… umm, no thanks. Way to go, Popeyes!

Just awful. Waited in line for 15 minutes to finally hear from another customer that they were out of chicken sandwiches. A sign would have been nice so I didn’t stand in line for nothing. The employees all looked like they didn’t want to be there and only spoke to customers to take an order, which to forever.

It’s like the employees just genuinely don’t care. They’ll take one order and then spend the next 15+ minutes waiting to finish orders. Anytime guests ask for assistance, the employees just get a massive attitude. Honestly, if you can’t be polite and friendly, think about a different job because foodservice just isn’t for you

Was out of most items like spicy chicken, ghost pepper wings, and only sides they had were mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and fries. But, I’ll credit that to it being a holiday and the restaurant open in the truck stop that day. Cashier was pretty nice even tho it was busy, but could definitely use a cleaning. There was spilled soda all over the soda station, tables were dirty and floor was sticky.

Was going back home from a road trip and stopped here to get food and let’s just say I wish I didn’t, the service sucked, there lobby side was trashed, napkins everywhere, already eaten food all over the place, cups full of pop everywhere. The backline cook was rude kept fighting with the manager and other staff, manager was rude didn’t know his product at all, and he kept getting rude with the only saving grace of an employee and it was the one making mine and mt husband’s sandwiches, she was the best she even double checked our order because of the way we ordered our food. I would avoid this one and drive a little farther to Toledo.

Jesse was great. Polite and friendly. But boy oh boy was that line long. I waited 45 minutes. Left. Called and placed my order came back in 20 mins, still had to wait and get my order after they told me to order at the counter which I replied I wasn’t doing since I sat there for that long with no one even taking my order in line. I will try again at a different time, hopefully less busy
