Food is absolutely horrible! It’s not just at this Popeyes. It’s at everyone I go to. It used to be amazing, and I can’t stand it anymore. Their chicken tenders are usually fairly decent, and I will sometimes give in and go just to get those, but this was the last, absolute last time I will go to Popeyes. On a three piece chicken tender combo, I could only eat one of the chicken tenders. The rest were so full of gristle or something I couldn’t even bite through them or tear them apart. Absolutely horrible! The fries were soggy, and the red beans and rice has lost all of its flavor and is most of the time crunchy. I just paid $10 for a small soda and one chicken tender. And the freestyle machine was out of almost every flavor. This used to be the only fried chicken place I would go to, but no more. There has to be some place that is more edible than this. And the service is always borderline pleasant. Bad food, bad service, it’s time to leave you behind. ✌️

This used to be one of my husband’s and my favorite place to eat. But after this past time going I don’t think I will be able to go again. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, and halfway through eating it I found a huge chunk of pink raw looking meat that was chewy. Hours later I woke up sick to my stomach for hours in the bathroom with food poisoning. Won’t be back.

My visit at this location was fantastic Monday, March 13 at 7:30 PM. Thanks to Hugo the shift manager he made sure my order was cooked fresh upon my request and not burned. I would like to recognize Hugo for his kindness, professionalism and speed of service. This visit was due to a problem that occurred on a prior visit on March 6 so he was aware of the situation and made sure that I was completely satisfied and happy with the food quality and service I received. Because he came out to the table less than five minutes after the food was served to make sure my order was prepared accurately made me very pleased ! When I was in food service we always did a two minute two bite check back that was a gringos policy, which i believe more restaurants need to utilize. Because he took the time to make sure everything tasted great and was prepared and served properly , I will definitely be coming back to this location. Thanks again Hugo for making this Popeyes location my family’s favorite.

I will never go back to this popeyes. I’ve complained to the manager and messaged Dahlia about the service and the food a few times. This place gets worse and worse and last night was the last time. We typically get the 10 piece family meal Spicy. There’s times we don’t get the Spicy chicken we ordered and not all the right pieces of chicken. Yesterday we didn’t get all the right pieces of chicken and the side of fries barley had fries in the box. They put what they want in your box and not what you order. We will drive further to get Popeyes. Tired of wasting my money at this particular one. There were issues that last 3 times I went. 3 strikes you’re out.

Stopped at this location for lunch on my way to Galveston. The food was amazing! Hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The service provided by Rebecca and Mark was wonderful. They were friendly and fulfilled my needs without a problem. Definitely will come again next time I am driving this way.

I love popeyes and chicken overall, the experience was good as well as the service. Of course i had to get the chicken sandwich to see what the hype was about, drive through was wrapped around the store so carry-out was less of a wait which to my surprise it went smooth and rather quick. NOW!!! The sandwich itself.. Did not live up to the hype(first time trying it) but was not that bad, given how busy the store was im surprised that the sandwich itself looked put together really good. But the taste of the chicken to me didn’t really have the flavor( especially how hyped they made it to be) but the pickles were not bad. Overall I rate the sandwich about a 6-7 out of 10. Now that doesn’t take away the fact that service was friendly and smooth. The “classic chicken sandwich” is not worth the wait when people are waiting such a long time( im sure others disagree) and sorry to say that Chick-fil-a Original chicken sandwich is always going to be the best chicken sandwich around.

great fast food chicken… alittle slow sometimes…. because it takes time to cook the chicken fresh….. in my opinion the best of all the chain ckicken places…. if you want the best fried chicken go to bbq inn in houston…. but for being close by its pretty darn good
