I did a mobile pick up order, placed at 5:49pm. It said available for pick up between 5:55 and 6:05. It was a pretty large order, so I wasn’t expecting it within the time frame. Pulled in to park at 6:11. And I waited. And waited. And waited. My food wasn’t done until 6:37. And then my gallon of tea wasn’t done until 6:51.

Tonight I ordered a 2 piece chicken, mash potatoes and gravy. I get home and started to eat, my chicken had blood in it and my mash potatoes did not have gravy. I went back up there and showed them the food and ask for my money back.

Where do I begin? This location is under new management now. Before, the chicken was always hot, but the professionalism was not. Now, the service is better but my last visit I received SPOILED red beans and rice. As I ate it initially, I was thinking “did they switch up on the recipe”? Then, I gagged and realized that it was actually spoiled. I was so sick! Literally and figuratively. I called the store about 6 times before they answered. Was put on hold and then forgotten about. I eventually hung up after about 20 mins. It’s just ridiculous. To think that they’re serving spoiled food, makes you wonder about quality control. I’d much rather a different restaurant take their place since they can’t seem to get their affairs in order. I’d also love to actually hear back from a manager, but I won’t hold my breath. Save yourselves the trip to the ER and eat somewhere else.

This place used to be better, but the last 3 or 4 times I’ve been back, my order is always screwed up. Ordered sweet tea and got coke. Ordered come and got sweet tea. Paid for extra biscuits, didn’t get them, and had go go inside to ask for them. Save yourself some time and go to the one on 518 in League City or drive to the one on Palmer Hwy in downtown Texas City.

Worst establishment!!! I tried giving this location various opportunities but it just seems like it keeps getting worse. Went there a couple of weeks ago as I placed my order I asked the order taker to make some fresh chicken strips that I didn’t mind waiting she said okay and asked me to pull to the front and that they would take my food out. I waited about 20 min finally I decided to go inside and check on my order to my surprise they didn’t even remember me being outside waiting. They ended up making my order and when I got home the chicken strips were so old it was pointless me waiting outside for 20 min. I tried calling the store about 10 times they never answered. Today again I went hoping that my experience will be better and as I feared the chicken strips were so old like they had been there a couple of hours. I tried calling the store and again no answer. I love Popeyes but someone needs to do something about this location! I feel like they keep taking peoples money and not giving them what we are paying for. Very Disappointed

My opinion about this Popeyes Chicken is this is the best crew and people they’ve had there and quite some time. The staff seems to be respectful, time, and actually listens to what you’re asking. A lot to be said for them.

This popeyes doesn’t deserve any stars at all. Every time I go there there is always something missing from my meal and they are never busy to act like its a rush especially I order online so it can be ready by time the app tells me it’s ready. The workers are rude. Knowing that some people come to this Popeyes because Galveston doesn’t have one anymore or its right by my house. I think its time to go way down the road for chicken especially with better service.

Love that chicken folks serving are always nice but almost without fail they are out of stock on items then things have to be substituted and always have to pull around and park to wait for the order. Unfortunate. Foods worth the wait but feel like this could be avoided.

Grab a chicken sandwich today. The only issue I had was the have a paper sign about online coupons covering a third of the drive through menu . Sandwich was hot and sweet tea good. Service was fast.
