First time at this location. Guy taking my order was friendly. My order was ready in about 3 minutes. Diet Coke/ fountain drink was flat. I guess Popeyes is just buying smaller chickens? Red beans and rice have that strange chemical taste. The portions have all gotten smaller. Why do I keep coming back to Popeyes????

You got delicious fried chicken and great location. 2 in 1 place. One of the nicest Popeyes restaurants in the west side of SA. Must go and check it out. We came in and ordered a newly fresh deep fried 5 pcs spicy chicke mix. They were the bomb. So crispy and so flavory. Highly recommended for any fried chicken lovers or chicken in general. They got one of the Cajun smashed potatoes too. Friendly staffs and good location by 1604. Super convenient.

Well we looked for a Popeyes to eat at and most ratings around SA area were about 3 stars. So we decided on this one. This Popeye’s is probably the best one in San Antonio! The staff was amazing, accommodating, and very nice! Customer service was too notch! And let’s not forget the food! Outstanding! Everything was fresh and the legendary chicken sandwich and chicken was AWESOME! Fries, biscuits, apple pie we’re all outstanding! Definitely recommend this Popeye’s! Thanks to the staff, well done!

The woman who took my order was rude, didn’t listen, and spoke too fast . The wait in the drive through took forever. When we finally got the food, it was very very greasy (the breading was saturated with grease) and almost uneatable. I normally love the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich, but I would never eat one from this location ever again. The whole experience was that bad. And all while the manager/supervisor sauntered around and watched with his hands in his pockets. I wish either Chick-fil-A made a sandwich as good as Popeyes (can make when it’s done properly), or Popeyes had service as good as Chick-fil-A.

Do not order from this Popeyes unless you’d like to wait 45 min only for your order to be wrong. There was one girl working the counter and about 5 people working in the back, not providing any assistance to the girl working the front. When she asked for help, they told her she was on her own. When I asked the manager to give her assistance, he was no help. This is the worst service I have ever received.

Placed order online was in line for 20 mins after letting them know I had an online order. Once I get up there he reads me another order, I tell him no I had an online order, but told him if I have to wait longer forget it. Gave me my order no apology for having to wait 20 mins in line. I was missing a large fries so I went back through the drive thru and was rudely asked to repeat my order and asked what the issue was they told to pull up to the window. When I get to the window the lady informs me new fries were just dropped and asked me to pull forward. After being at the restaurant over 25 minutes by this point I said no and was yelled at by the male manager. Not even 2 minutes later the male manager rudely hands me my fries which were NOT fully cooked!
