Visited Popeyes for the first time, ordered sandwich combo spicy one, the taste was so good. Probably the best fried chicken sandwich i ever had. I used sweet heat sauce along with that, it tasted great with that. Ordered butter biscuits as well, tasted great with the honey. Staff were friendly and patient.

I visit this Popeyes location because both of the Round Rock locations are horrible. I always go inside to eat, because I learned my lesson about using the drive-thru during Covid. Every time I go, the staff has been friendly and the food has been hot and tasty. I agree with others that the employees children may be a distraction at times, but most times I’ve been there the children have been well behaved. My only complaint is that it is impossible to find a clean table. The last time I was there, I was the only patron in the place and nobody was coming through the drive-thru. This seemed like a perfect opportunity for someone to take some initiative and clean the tables and floor before people started to come back in. Instead of cleaning they gathered in the kichen area, laughing together in a rather loud manner. When I left about 15-20 minutes later, all the tables and the floor were still as dirty as when I walked in. If they can’t keep the restaurant area clean, it makes one wonder what else they aren’t cleaning. Amazing that this is a training restaurant when it’s painfully obvious that they aren’t even interested in how they present themselves to the public.

As with most Popeye’s we’ve been to, the drive through was slow, and they didn’t have all the items we wanted to order. If your have lots of time, and you’re willing to be flexible with your order, the chicken is good. The sides are average at best.

This store is hard to deal with anymore. The language gap at the register has completely screwed us out of a correct order for the third time this year. After having to explain to the girl at the counter no less than four times what I wanted, they still can’t manage to put everything we pay for in the bag. What makes things even more frustrating is the employees have their children running all over the restaurant and were clearly distracted by trying to watch the kid and do their job simultaneously. In addition to this, it’s painfully obvious that they’re giving friends or family free food right in front of everyone. So, thanks for the high priced order that was incomplete, Popeye’s. I guess next time I’ll need to inventory the order prior to leaving the store.

We were there on May 2nd 2023, and while the food was good, inside the restaurant its too cold. I’m a hot natured person, but damn, you could hang meet in there for storage! Even one of the employees working the drive through was wearing a pullover hoodie because she was cold! Its always been this cold there, even before covid, but this is the first time I’ve thought to write a review about it.

I like Popeyes for their chicken, chicken sandwich and mac n cheese only. My husband eats the flounder sandwich when in season. With that said, i ordered the 3pc chicken combo and when i tell you that the mac n cheese was disgusting, i tossed it after one spoonful. It literally tasted like it was made with dirty sink water. I get it may be the trapped steam that gives this flavor, but it was not tasteful whatsoever. I also dislike that the small/single size cup of mac n cheese was only half filled. Both meals were like this. I am used to receiving a full cup at other restaurants. When placing my order, the cashier (a Hispanic lady) was so hard to understand with her thick accent. She struggled to answer a question so i switched to Spanish to better ask my question (because, I too, am hispanic) and she just had a blank stare on her face and continued to reply in English. I was trying to make it a little easier for her but ok. As soon as I completed my order she just hit total and walked away to the back speaking Spanish. The manager on duty/shift leader had to cash me out. That was disrespectful. I may not return to this location if I have another bad experience (because I give places two chances before I ban it from my eat list). I hope management becomes aware of this and uses it to do better.

This review is solely based on the Banana Cream Cake. It was delicious, I give props to them for this dessert. The second I put a spoonful in my mouth all I could taste was Banana Pudding. You know, the one that your mom or family member makes during the holidays with the vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. It tasted like that but it was a cold cake with whip cream on top. I have to learn this recipe because wow .

Twice we have gone there and ordered a 3 piece meal, only to be charged for a three piece with an extra charge for 2 of them to be breast, but only received a regular 2 piece meal . Called and left a message…no return call. My wife stopped by to talk to them and it was like talking to children. Just not worth the effort to go here.
