Came to this location of Popeyes in Thornton, just off Interstate 25 and East 144th Avenue, on a late afternoon. Wasn’t very crowded and had the whole place to ourselves. The food came out very quickly and was good – the chicken tenders were hot and crispy on the outside, soft and juicy in the inside, and the chicken sandwich was very good too. Service was friendly. The restaurant has a nice, welcoming, Cajun-themed decor, clean and brightly lit. Lots of seating, with plenty of parking outside. I recommend this location, when compared to other locations in/around Denver.

Made an order through the app an hour before closing. Went through drive thru, I was the first car when I arrived. They made me park, and wait even though I pre ordered. The car that was behind me got their order first. Looks like they gave me all the left overs of the night. Shrimp looks like it’s been sitting out for a long time, looks double fried in old oil. i ordered nuggets for my daughter and instead got RIPPED up chicken tenders. And they left out the drinks. Not good at all. I waited in the parking lot for a while, decided to go back though drive thru and I see them gathered around in a circle talking amongst themselves while I’m sitting in my car late at night waiting for my order in the parking lot. I really don’t like this location. It’s a NEW location too so, what’s going on with management??

Ordered through Uber Eats. I ordered 3 piece chicken strip meal. My mashed potatoes didn’t come and the chicken strips were super small. More like 3 chicken nuggets. I guess at least I got my drink. Sick of these restaurants not fulfilling delivery orders!

This is my first time at this location after they opened. Comparing with McDonald’s and KFC their chicken sandwich is better and has a big chicken patty. However the service was not that great. We had to wait a long time in the counter and do all kinds of actions to get their attention. There is only one guy at the register who is taking orders and packing things up. I was keeping my eye on the screen and no one was in the drive through either. I felt the employees are very ignorant. Doesn’t care about serving.

Stood in the dining room for 5 minutes, no one in sight, one girl ignoring me to clean down tables. Completely empty. Attitude when I came to pick up an order which wasn’t even started until I got here. Not friendly. Food is usually decent, just don’t expect great staff.

This is the best Popeyes I’ve been to so far. They didn’t even hesitate when I asked for blackened tenders and I didn’t have to put in an order before!(even though it is cheaper to go through the app) I was just happy I could enjoy one of my favorite lunches! She said 5 minute wait and did exactly that time! Its all worth it because it’s fresh!

Three of us went here for lunch today and were rather disappointed. First off they were completely out of the new seafood dishes, which is no biggie, it happens. However, we ordered our food and 1 part of the order had to be cooked fresh, but they pulled the rest of the order off the pass and set it aside to get cold. I asked for the food that was getting cold and we started eating, but unfortunately the Cajun fries I ordered were about an hour stale… they were super gross. I asked to trade them in for mashed potatoes, which they did with no questions. Everything else was pretty good, they hooked us up on the chicken and the honey mustard. We all got more chicken than we ordered, just think about the side dishes that can die before they are served to you.
