Today 12/07/22 I ate at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen for the first time. I went through the drive thru which was rather quick. The young lady that took my order was pleasant and my order was correct. I ordered a special they were offering which was a great deal (download the app to get offers available). The food was good and the apple pies were amazing.

so in all advertising the shrimp tackle box shows a sandwich directly in front with a price above, but no sandwich is included, it is a box of fries. with 8 tiny little hard popcorn shrimp buried underneath, but the ad says butterfly ship. It is the most expensive box of fries I’ve ever had, this place is the worst, check the pics, the large shrimp is the butterfly shrimp they advertise, the little one is what you really get, buried in all those not so good fries, I tried the chicken once as well, horrible, I wish google would allow zero-star reviews.

I went when they first opened got some chicken it had absolutely no flavor, I figured 6 months later they should have it together. Went there a 1/2 hour ago same exact flavorless chicken! How can the sandwich be so good and the chicken on the bone be so awful?

Food was hot and edible. Price 12.99 think it was. I order spicy chicken stripes and got classic. Order came fast but wish I got spicy like I wanted.. For the price what you get not worth it to me. Also I understand places can get busy but garbage was overfilling and food on tables and floors and a mess at the drink stations. For such a nice new restaurant you would think they can keep up. Also the music could be a little lower to hear myself think. Just a little loud for me. Enjoyed the music otherwise.

Been there four times since they opened and and the last three times I have had a problem with my order. My guess is the trainers moved on and the employees just don’t care. Today took the cake, I ordered a 5 piece chicken tender with barbecue sauce and a spicy chicken sandwich. I didn’t get barbecue sauce which is whatever, the icing on the cake is someone took the time to cross out the original chicken sandwich on the packaging and write spices on the front but didn’t even bother to make sure they gave me a spicey chicken sandwich.

They’ve been open for several months, yet they’re operating like they just had a grand opening. Who’d imagine driving up to the speaker to place your order & the cashier tells you they only have dark meat. When I asked if there was an option to wait, the cashier responded……our white meat is in the freezer & it would take over an hour to thaw it out, plus an hour to cook!? My apologies, I thought you were in business to make money. So instead of buying dinner for everyone, I only ordered something for half of the family because not everyone likes dark meat. Thanks but No Thanks….. I’ll definitely be going to KFC next time!

Who the hell opens a restaurant but has nothing ready, no seriously . Went to Popeyes to get lunch for 3 adults, when we arrived they were out of half of what we wanted and said it would be a 6 minute wait for strawberry biscuits. Ok no problem we decided to wait after 10 minutes they tell us it was going to be another six minutes so we just asked for regular biscuits but those were a wait also . I mean if anyone came through and ordered a quick lunch nothing was ready to go everything was a wait, we ordered 3 meals and everything was a wait for six minutes but when the six minutes was up it was another 6 minutes . At this point I’m irritated because it was 6 minutes or 12 because after 10 it was another 6, see the irritation? I left the store before I said things that were not nice leaving my spouse to deal with it. No biscuit with the meals that came with biscuits, no strawberry or regular biscuits because they couldn’t get them done in a timely manner (we waited 20 minutes for what food we did get) so they gave us apple pies and only lord knows how long they were sitting there. Thought Popeyes would pick up where KFC slacks but I guess they are just learning from them, we used to go here often but won’t return for awhile if ever considering this hasn’t been our first issue with them but do like the food.
