No customer service, didn’t get acknowledged by the staff. Took them a long time to finally ask me “ how can I help you”well yes I have a pick up order!! Had place a mobile order for pick up but it seems they are focused more on drive-thru only. It took about 33 minutes from when I place the order to finally getting my food. They have 2 people working the front and 1 cook during lunch hour when it’s the most busiest time. Do not come inside stay in drive tru if your in a hurry.

It takes forever to order, then more waiting to get your food. When you open your sides they are all only half full. When brought to their attention that the sides weren’t full, they claim that’s how they’ve been told to do it. As much as you pay you should at least get full portions. I waited for years to finally get a Popeyes in Turlock. What a disappointment that store is. I still have to drive out of town to get my Popeye’s Chicken done right & packaged with fair portions.

I’m someone who actually tries to frequent the local restaurants in town… and I’ve given this Popeyes quite a few tries BUT this is by far the worst Popeyes I have ever been too! The representatives are super rude! They mess up my order almost everytime I come and the fries or chicken is so hard I have thrown entire orders away! After the rudeness from a manager today, this will be my LAST visit to this location. Poorly poorly run.

This particular Popeye’s location isn’t doing a good job when it comes to Customer service and having specific types of Chicken readily available for when Customer goes to order it. I went into this location and Staff were very unprofessional and ran out of Spicy Chicken pieces. It was only 7 p.m. in the Evening and didn’t have any available and hadn’t even started to cook more to replace the Spicy Chicken supply. I was told it would be about a half hour to forty five minutes before it would be ready. At a Restaurant that boasts that they have Cajun type food, how do you run out of Spicy Chicken unless your supply is out …. which it wasn’t. They just didn’t take the time to replenish the supply. Someone a.k.a. the Cook dropped the ball there. I was going to buy at least 28 pieces along with the usual trimmings but walked out disappointed instead. I highly recommend that you don’t go to this Popeye’s if you want Chicken.

If I could give this franchise on golden state no reviews I would! It is 12:50 on a sat. In April. Not exactly peak summertime busy. Drove up to this “fast” food Popeyes kitchen to order a sandwich. One car ahead of me waiting to order, and waiting and waiting…I waited 10 minutes for their order to be taken. Get up to the speaker and place my order for a fish sandwich. The young lady at the window spoke so fast and clearly wasnt speaking into the microphone as I had to have her repeat what she said several times throughout my order. I was told they didn’t have fish for the sandwich! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich , again please repeat what you said! In an irritated voice she said a spicy chicken sandwich will take 8 minutes to prepare!!!! I thought this was “fast” food! Never again will I patronize their store!!!! I didn’t spend any money I drove off very irritated!

I can’t believe there is a Popeyes Restaurant this bad. I went inside, ordered a 2 piece spicy Chicken Combo with a side of Mashed Potatoes. My friend ordered a 2 piece spicy Combo with a side of Cajun Rice. Food took about 8 minutes to be ready. Opened my box and got two tiny (seriously only 4 bites between both pieces) of not so spicy chicken. The chicken was room temperature and greasy. The Mashed Potatoes had about a tablespoon of cold gravy. The biscuit is not a regular Popeyes biscuit. It was inedible. It looked like a Popeyes biscuit, but not the same flavor. The flavor was terrible! It was very firm and doughy. Worst I ever had. My friend had the same experience with his chicken and biscuit. His side ended up being Mac and Cheese instead of the Cajun Rice he ordered. He also ordered Sweet Iced Tea. It had a sprinkling of ice on top, but served warm. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff friendly! But it is extremely obvious that management has failed miserably. Only 2 people working, while it was becoming busy. No quality control. So disappointed. I will go to Livingston or Santa Nella if I want Popeyes in the future! You should be ashamed!

We have been to this Popeyes a few times before and the service was extremely slow but when we went in a week ago we were greeted by the most pleasant and cheerful manager in training. His name is Joseph. I am giving this 5 star only bec of him and his attitude and how FAST we got our meal. Kudos to the new manager in training. Hopefully they keep you there so we can continue to get exceptional service. Normally I’d rate this place a 3 or a 4 but this visit really made the difference. Plus the chicken was really hot and tasty. Thank you Joseph!!
