Ordered the new sweet and spicy wings. Waited 15 minutes, got them and went home. Opened it up and they were not sweet and spicy. Had to drive all the way up there because customer service is AI. Got there and they didn’t even apologize. Dude was like aww this all wrong. They dont even come in this box, they come in that container. He points to a black plastic container. Manager comes over. And counts the wings in both boxes. Really? Wow. Will never come to this location.

One past weekday, I ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich and redeemed points for one regular fries. What I received were a Classic Chicken Sandwich and an apple pie. Fries = pie? How did that get mixed up? Disappointed. I lost the points in terms of value. Will not go back for six months. Sorry. Chicken sandwich was pretty good though; apple pie, so-so.

This Popeyes is in one of the worst areas in Sacramento. Customers are rude, and will cut in front of you like you are not even there. Staff will help the people that cut first because they are the same skin color. People bring nasty dogs and carts in. Chicken doesn’t taste fresh.

Ordered spicy, got regular. They tried to convince me that this is the spicy. It’s literally not. I’ve been eating popeyes for 15 years. I know what a spicy tender taste like. Tenders way smaller and don’t seem to be cooked all the way. Apparently no popeyes gives honey either if you don’t ask. Which is odd. If every meal has a biscuit, why isn’t there automatically a honey packet for this dry biscuit… not the same as it used to be at all.

I ordered a Classic Chicken Sandwich. It was very cold and been sitting since they opened, I ordered it at 11:30am. I went back in and told the manager, she said it will be the same as the other one. I told her to make fresh one’s, they are old. You have a time limit on the Sandwiches one they are made. She had gave me a nother Sandwiche that was just as cold as the first one. So I went back in the second time. I said I want a fresh Sandwich or my money back, I told her “you eat this cold food”. Then I asked her ” you like cold old food” she said “no” I had told her ” why should I eat cold old food” so she just gave my money back. Chicken was cold, ordered spicy and got regular. The chicken tenders were thin and chewy. Fries cold, mashed potatoes luke warm. very disappointed for $30.. not sure why everyone raves about Popeye’s I won’t be back.

Food was stone cold. Asked for a hot order, and staff proceeded to replace it with the same cold chicken as they got it from before. I had to ask for fresh. Homeless is still a huge problem at this location.

worst popeyes in sacramento area you may as well drive to the one on watt and elkhorn cuz they food wayyyy better this popeyes location has a bunch of young people working there and you can tell they dont know how to properly make food,you know a place is bad when even the strawberry biscuit isnt buttery and fluffy ,wont be coming here ever again
