This place should be on “Diners Drive-ins and Dives” because it is a tiny little place that looks like a hot dog drive in. It is equivalent to a swanky franks but with Giffords ice cream and real waffle cones. Curly fries are amazing. Burger and regular French fries are good for the inexpensive price. Cow town countryside views near Litchfield and very remote small town feel. Burger, fries and a scoop of ice cream are good.

Decent food, but every time I go there they SCREW me on ice cream portions & don’t care even when u point it out. Deer in headlights highschool kids. If I’m paying $8-10 for ice cream, I don’t want 60% of what everyone else gets.

This local icon has been here a long time, I’ve been going since I was a child. Great food, service, and nice outdoor area when weather permits. Friendly staff, very helpful. There’s also an ATM inside. I love their cheeseburgers and curly spicy fries

I waited 40 minutes for a Popey’s burger (medium) and fries to go. I realize they cook to order. People came and went, who ordered after me. When I questioned the teenage girl behind the counter, she told me it tales a while to cook a Popey’s 1/2# burger. No apology for the wait… When I got my order home, it is so well-done it is barely editable. Very disappointing, both food and service, from a long-time customer.

Ah, another long and detailed review my favorite. The ice cream was fantastic and it was made in around 7 seconds including the toppings I got a really tasty ice cream cup and surprisingly in 70°F it didn’t melt till around 30 minutes high quality food high quality service

I waited almost 30 minutes for a Popey’s hot dog (short) and fries to go. That doesn’t seem right, for 2 small items. People came and went, who ordered after me. The sweet potato fries were tasteless also.
