This is a great hidden gem in Howard, KS. Friendly family staff and a welcoming community. They have simple, down home cooking, coupled with excellent pizzas that leverage their Buffalo New York roots and experience. They have a small bar area set up for after work or weekend entertaining. And a large space in the rear of the building for overflow capacity or usage by large groups. It’s worth the drive to visit Poplar Pizza!

Wow! What a fantastic little restaurant in quaint downtown Howard KS. An extensive menu with something for everyone. I am a vegetarian, had a lovely white pizza with tomato and onion. Others in my group had a seafood platter, hot wings, and fried chicken platters. They do feature a bar so enjoy an adult beverage if you wish, the beer is ice cold. Great dessert choices and polite servers and cooks round out this perfect stop. A+

This little restaurant is amazing. The wait staff is very friendly. The crab legs are outstanding. I have never had such a good juicy crab leg before trying this restaurant. The patronize it as much as possible enjoying their seafood night it happens for a few days once a month.
