This is a very nice little breakfast lunch place nuzzled in downtown Ferndale. The food is huge and the prices are small. If you want traditional American olde timey diner experience then come here, pull up a chair and leave our chaotic world outside for a bit and slow down. Cash only but that is fine.

Best breakfast of our 11-day road trip through northern California. Basic breakfast food, but well-prepared and large portions. Very friendly service. What’s most fun, though, is just being here, in a decades-old restaurant, with a group of locals playing games in the back. Definitely plan to stop here whenever you visit Ferndale.

Cool place. Old style diner. Huge orders, good quality ingredients. I ordered the daily special, a grilled ham and cheese. It was so big that I took half of it with me. Did I mention that the service was nice and the food was piping hot?

Stopped in here while visiting Ferndale and grabbed some burgers. Good was very good, ladies were very friendly and we enjoyed our meal. Just don’t forget to bring cash, no debit or credit accepted! It is worth it, though!

Sweet ladies handling Saturday on their own. Did an awesome job! They had 2 large groups in front of us and still mamaged to keep our coffee flowing while we waited. Portions were big and we didn’t finish. Sadly forgot a picture.

It was truly amazing. I ate my entire meal alongside soup and my mom’s omelette. Even my family said it was delicious. Highly recommend this place, it really makes you feel at home.

Simple food but plenty of it and nicely cooked. We really enjoyed our breakfast here and the atmosphere is very good. The locals come to socialise and play cards. Good food, good coffee, good friends.
