We thought we’d give Poppies Place a try for take-out breakfast on our way to Warner Robins. We should’ve waited! No friendly greeting was a clue to how our biscuits would be. When I asked how they were today, the response I got was “We’re here”. The price was a little high too, $8.08 for 2 sausage egg biscuits. The real disappointment came when we were on our way & opened our biscuits. They were burnt & tasted day old. Convenient or not, we will not be visiting Poppies Place again.

I really can’t figure out when they’re open. Seem it changes due to workers. Taco pizza was good. Fish was good. Called a few times to place order and no answer. Breakfast foods good, but not enough food. We ate about 8:30, came home made a sandwich. The Chicken Place down 80 towards Dublin has spoiled us. A+ and pleasantly full every meal we eat there.

Great little place to get a quick meal in a old-fashioned style roadside diner.

Our first time eating there we called in order we called ahead placed order for 3 fried chicken breast 2 thighs and three legs. Was told it be 20 mins. Showed up 20 mins later it wasn’t ready no customers waited 20 more mins when we got the food it was one breast two leg quarters and 2 legs which all was scorched. Had a scorched burnt greese taste very dry overcooked. I would not recommend eating there.

It’s small but very nice. I had a hamburger and French fries. Very tasty and the French fries are to die for. They are home made and not frozen. Hamburger was very good a little under cooked for me I prefer very well done. And it’s real hamburger not frozen patties. 1000 times better than any old burger place that starts with a M. I will go back when in Jeffersonville,Georgia.

Hidden Gem of middle Georgia. Delicious food, kind and friendly service, and a beautiful little spot to eat. Try the Catfish, Mac & Cheese, or any of the veggies. You won’t be disappointed.
