We’ve come here three times in the past eight years because we keep expecting it to be good judging from all the glowing recommendations and reviews! But every single time Poppy’s has disappointed. It’s not a disaster, but it’s not great. It’s fine. Atmosphere is a little weird and gives the vibe of a time gone by. Maybe this place is a hit because PV is so devoid of any good Italian place (sans Andiamo).

Lovely dinner at Poppys in Ponte Vedra Beach this evening. Our food was delicious and our server , Alexis was amazing. We tried the fried green tomatoes for an app and it was fantastic. The eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and the chicken picatta was outstanding. So glad we finally made it out there! Highly recommend!

Came with a party of 8 vacationers for a late dinner. Seated quickly. The staff was very friendly. Service was prompt. Food was delicious. Fresh salads with house made dressing and garlic bread – all delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entree – but my Sausage and peppers with marinara sauce over linguine was the favorite. Highly recommend.

This is an old style family traditional Italian restaurant. Make a reservation and be prepared to loosen your belt and and have another glass of wine while you enjoy your company. The garlic rolls are heaven but not great if your going to be smooching anyone. The veal piccata and risotto are a highly recommend but the specials are always worth a try. This is a wonderful local must! But sshhhh.. let’s keep it our secret.
