I absolutely love mom and pop diners. I will ALWAYS support places like this. We are here visiting family and they suggested we go here for breakfast because they are popular. I can see why, the sever was phenomenal and very kind and patient with my kids! The food was damn good. As was the service. I hope the place continues to thrive for years to come. What a great little place. So friendly and attentive. Was very busy so sat at the counter, which became the best decision. Met one of the owners, Tina, Poppy’s wife. Such a nice person. Told me all about the place and decor which is a throwback to the 50’s and 60’s. Food was really good, and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had out in a while. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely a must visit.

Dont let its exterior deter you! Amazingly friendly service, a true “blast from the past,” with decor from the 50s ( from Betty Boop and Popeye to Sinatra and Elvis), Poppy’s Place is a great experience. The food is well prepared, and the portions are generous.

Nostalgic diner with all the feels of the 50s. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff, we were seated right away and greeted with a smile by our waitress. Our waitress, Julia, was so sweet. If you got a problem with her, you got a problem with yourself. Food was delicious and in just the right portions. We will absolutely be back to this gem of a place !

Local mom and pop place serving good value breakfast and lunch but not dinner. Friendly service in a retro atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by servers, and owner Tina aka Mrs Poppy stopped by our table welcoming us as first time customers. Just off the main street across from the post office, don’t want to miss this.
