Hadn’t been to Pop’s for awhile, decided to stop by and seen there was a WHOLE new staff. Still, the STEAK Philly(as they call it now) was decent and I decided to return the following day, bad decision. I returned the following day to get some hot wings(20 wings) instead I received fried(battered)chicken soaked in sauce. Not to mention a chicken tender was thrown in to replace one of my wings, because they were out of wings. Maybe three wings were sampled and the rest were thrown in the trash, because nobody wanted to eat battered sauced wings. If I do decide to return(which is looking unlikely) it would be for Philly, because my wings were a disgrace to any wing lover, could have done better at wingstop, and we all know how bad their wings/service has gotten…

Went with my sister since I was in her neck of the woods. She got me the Philly combo with the 5 wings. The honey gold wings were good. You definitely get your money’s worth. I’m picky about my Philly. It’s something missing. It needs more cheese, don’t think it comes with mayo either.

Really quite good. My only complaint is the styrofoam container the fries. Come in for take out, make the fries VERY soggy, but I’m not dinging my rating, I took them home and airfried them back to edible, but had that not been an option, they would have been thrown away Great sandwich and good portions.

I had heard good things about the food here. Specifically, the Cajun Turkey Philly. I ordered that sandwich, homemade chips and lemonade. The sandwich was good, a little salty. Some of the homemade chips were brunt, hard, or soggy. The lemonade was great! I will give them another shot.

I miss the original owner. Food quality and prep is horrible now. Please clean the grill for future customers. Chicken Philly: dry, bland except for the taste of burnt grill flakes !! 8 years ago best Philly in Memphis hands down . Now it’s a disappointment .
