A quiet little diner with super friendly staff and a cafeteria style serving line. Lots of menu options besides fried chicken and fish. Dinners come with sides and there are a lot to choose from. Cold sides and hot sides. Sweet tea may have been the best I’ve had in Lindale. Was really impressed with the options on the menu.

First time dining in. Had to tryout the fish combo for Seniors. Three large pieces of tender coated with what seemed like cornmeal. Fish had a great taste to it plus the buffet like choice selection with your meals was a lot. I selected the mashed potatoes with white gravy and corn. Been passing this place up for years and always wondered how good they were. THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME!! Food was next level, right behind my mamma’s fried chicken and sides were great. Don’t skip out on the peach cobbler-you’re be sorry if you do. Wish I had stopped by sooner.

My favorite stop on my twice a year camping trip to Tyler State Park. Staff is always friendly & kind, food is fresh, hot & always delicious! Restaurant is clean & well kept, you can tell this is where the locals in Lindale grab lunch. We dine in or take it to go, but the drive through is a great perk! My dog even gets excited when we pull into the parking lot because he knows he’s going to get delicious chicken scraps! We always order enough to have leftovers for our 5 hour drive back home. It’s the only time I’ll eat fried chicken, it’s worth the trip!

I ordered a fish from there on July 2 and my stomach started to hurt. It’s been 4 days sense, and my stomach is still hurting. I have also gotten diarrea after eating it. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
