Been meaning to write a great review about Pop’s for awhile now … I invited 25 close friends out to my place back in January and asked Pop’s to cater. I go there frequently & know how good his BBQ is. It was a crowd pleaser, fr the meats to the homemade sides all the way thru the banana pudding. Easy to order, delicious to eat! Would recm’d his catering service for your event! See you this wkend Pop’s!

Wow amazing fall of the bones best ribs I’ve had in Texas. Been to Lockhart, Austin, Elgin, Bastrop, Smithville and by far this place is the best. Happy and friendly owners along with customers as one gave me a try of his brisket which is amazing too. No one would ever be disappointed.

Nice gentleman who makes outstanding brisket. Our sons came to visit and we went on a BBQ tour for them. Came to Pop’s and pretty much decided that there was no need to go anywhere else. One can tell he puts a lot of care in the food he crafts and his customer’s satisfaction.

Damn those nachos were more than filling. Took 3 tries to finish. Great brisket. Good people. Staff was fun to communicate with. Knew their regulars and treated them well. Would DEFINITELY go back. Dying to try their baked potatoes as I heard great things about them.
