We had heard such great things about this place so I had to drive over 600 miles to check them out. I met the owner Chris who was phenomenal. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. The food was amazing. We probably spent 2 hrs sitting catching up with friends until they closed and not once did they try to rush us out. We will definitely be back. So we stopped in here because no other place was open and honestly didn’t like the set up. You walk in and there’s a table with a big board, telling you to take a menu and have a seat. Once you figure out what to order, you go to the counter. Gave us a receipt and was looking and two of the items we purchased was .50 more than the menu price. Tell the lady at the counter and she says…. Oh there’s a little sign on the table “The one when you first walk in” that’s says some menu items have been increased. A little sign like two inches. Personally When we walk into a restaurant, you don’t wanna have to read all the signs before sitting down. Just not good business. Change the price on your menu’s. We also purchased ice cream next door. Three scoops that looked like two small scoops in a cup for 6.00. I feel as a customer, changes need to be made and the place make you feel more welcomed. Not have to read all the signs of instruction before you sit down. The food was good but I got the chili with no crackers, once again had to get up and ask. For the prices charged, you should have waitresses waiting on people.

Everything about this restaurant was worth it. From the homemade hot dogs to the fried banana bites. The food was phenomenal and the owners were even better. Relaxing environment with the cutest friends themed bathroom! This is a must try.

Nice place. Makes their own hotdogs. The Mexican tacos are delicious, so are the bbq tots. John Wayne and Presley pictures everywhere. Outside seating. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Plenty of parking. We had a party of 7 for lunch and spent $100 for appetizers, food and dessert. The funnel cake is delicious for dessert.

This is the spot for food while visiting Rough River Lake! I was passing through on a bicycle trip and heavy rain derailed my day. I decided to stop and eat. Super cool owners and staff, good prices, and the food is PHENOMENAL! I ordered the pulled pork with tots, which made my day so much better! If I was a local I would 100% be a regular!

I went back here tonight and I was so impressed that it’s no less than a 5/5. I loved the crab Rangoon egg rolls, the banana bites were amazing, best batter I’ve had! And the grilled cheese donuts were so unique, can’t recommend enough! Great portion sizes!
