Delicious food and great service. It was late Sunday and they were running out of meat because they smoke all their meats 13 hours to make it so tender and delicious. They are closed Mon-Wed so it makes sense they don’t want a lit of expensive meat leftover and wasted after closing Sunday.

What an amazing BBQ gem right here in the Poconos. If you like BBQ, heck even if you’re not a big fan please come check this place out. Small family run business with some of the best restaurant bbq I’ve ever had. My wife, kids, mother inlaw and I went there last night 6/31 for dinner and had an outstanding meal. I got the Pit Master platter and it was loaded with more meat than I could possibly eat in one sitting. The Brisket was outstanding, ribs were fantastic, pork and chicken were top notch as well. I judge a place by its smoke flavor and how juicy the meat is and everything was excellent. My wife judged a bbq place on how good the sides are. The Mac n cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and sweet potato mash were all incredible. Of you cannot forget about the cornbread, that was damn good as well. All in all, a great spot to eat with a great atmosphere for the whole family. We will definitely be back. Oh yea, the managers kids came out and played volleyball with my kids after they were done eating. Just a great experience.

Found this place while looking at Lake Wallenpaupack. Saw a picture of the Brisket and decided to give it a try. That brisket did not disappoint! VERY lean but still moist, fork-tender, with lots of smoky flavor. Did not need any sauce, but a little bit didn’t hurt.

Found this place by chance on the way to a family reunion at the lake. Loved everything we had – the ribs, pulled pork and the spicy fries. The two gentlemen who were running it were super friendly and the service was great. Really flavorful, fresh and big portions. There are tables outside and a cute outdoor bar as well. We are planning to go back again this weekend on our way out of town. Highly recommend!

Stopped in there last night for the first time. Nice place. Smoked flavor was on all the meats. The ribs were good, but both the chicken and brisket were dry. Wasn’t offered cornbread. Some drink selections weren’t available. On a Friday Night. Disappointing.

If only we had read the review from last weekend. This Sunday was the same. We had decided to give this place a try so we ordered a little bit of everything. We are happy to recommend local places but when the food doesn’t warrant it, it’s hard to do so.

5 of us came on a Sunday afternoon to try some good ribs. The experience was so disappointing. Half the sides were sold out, including the cornbread. The ribs were good, but the chicken was dried out.

Read all the bad reviews but decided to try them anyway. Showed up at 1:30 on a Thursday. They open at noon. The first 4 items I tried to order they were out of 3 of them including “BURGERS”. I told them there was no reason to be open if they didn’t have any food. There is no excuse to be out of food 1 1/2 hours after opening! Went down the road to the Greentown Grill BBQ Pit and received a great meal as usual.

We had high hopes for this BBQ place so close to our home in Newfoundland. Great outdoor area with picnic tables under a roof for shade & the newly added outdoor bar is really inviting. They had live music on this Saturday afternoon & the band was great. Kudos for having a live band on a random Saturday afternoon. Ordered their specialty burger that has pulled pork on top of the burger with mac & cheese as a side. Ordered the burger med-well. Dish looked fine until we took a bite, the burger was rare and the entire sandwich was tasteless. Wish I snapped a pic of the burger for this review to show how rare it was. Receipt did show med-well, so I know it was not a mistake by the friendly employee who took our order. I had to douse the burger with their hot sauce to appease my taste buds and hide the fact I was eating a rare burger. Sadly, the mac & cheese was tasteless as well. I used the hot sauce on that as well to get some taste out of it. Wife agreed everything was tasteless and she is not picky at all. She does not like hot sauce so she was screwed lol. I gave it 2 stars since the atmosphere is really cool & having entertainment was a big bonus. Also, the hot sauce was good lol. Other folks seemed to be enjoying their food, maybe we ordered the wrong dish & side? Everyone was enjoying the band. However, we wont be back sorry to say.

My dinner of pulled pork was wonderful, no complaints. My husband said ribs were tough, and the sampler platter was dry. Service was good. Collard greens, cornbread, and curly fries all good.
