Cute little bbq restaurant in the Woodstock Harley Davidson parking lot. Had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin (3) and Parmesan fries. Both were good, but will be back to try other items in the menu.

This was honestly the most disappointing bbq I’ve ever had. The Mac and cheese was the best part of the BBQ meal. The meat had no flavor, no smoke whatsoever, and it was luke warm when it arrived at our table, and the bottom bun was literal mush. I ordered brisket; it was much closer to an oven roasted pot roast. The waitress was nice and attentive.

My taste test with bbq joints is how good are their burnt ends. I’m not sure what to say about their burnt ends. Was it even burnt ends they served me?? Was not impressed at all. Wasn’t even decent. Tasted dry, hard and bit salty. Reminded me of week old pot roast covered in bbq sauce. The pulled pork was decent but wouldn’t buy again. Kind of tasted like liquid smoke to me.

OMG LET me tell u how delicious and amazing this place is PLEASE. First thing u notice besides the BBQ smell when u walk in is the decor and comfortable atmosphere. The Owners wer Awesome. Jakes greeted us right at the door. Made us feel VERY welcome throughout our dining experience. I think He made it that much better. He made it so easy to order!! Gave us great suggestions on what’s most popular. I literally wanted to try everything LOL. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich w a side of spicy coleslaw. Best combination ever. It’s there Wednesday’s Special for 7 bucks!!! Its called The Oinker! Also tried the Moo slider(Beef Brisket). I HAD to try a slice of Bacon Candy!! Which was amazing. Everything was so Good. Tender. Hot. Fresh. Made with Love that for sure. We also had the Ribs. Full slab that came w 2 sides. We got Fries & there famous Au Gratin Potatoes. Which were the Best thing I’ve ever had!! Fall of the bone kinda ribs finger licking good. This review does not do justice to what we felt and experienced. Food was ALL GREAT and we Will be back for sure. Great Prices. VERY Nice owners. Definitely give them a try if u haven’t yet.

Cute little restaurant. Manager/cook has a chip on his shoulder. Server was not attentive. I should have realized the food wasn’t going to be good when we were the only patrons. I ordered the 2lb pickup package of brisket. That was my mistake, I should have requested a sample first. It was dry, tough to chew, and had a burnt flavor instead of smoky. Like something fell into the smoker and burned up (you know the flavor when something falls on the bottom of the oven and smokes up the the kitchen) There is no smoke ring. It wasn’t cut properly for a brisket. Brisket is supposed to be cut across the grain. I believe in reality that it was Chuck roast of select quality at best and the meat was pulled (like pulled pork) from the roast. I asked the waitress about it saying is didn’t taste very good. She sent out the manager who started out combative just came out and said, “The Brisket is cooked exactly the way it’s supposed to be!” I wonder which instructions he was following. The instructions should say that you are supposed to start with brisket, not Chuck roast. I said it was a bit tough, and had a burnt flavor. I thought he would offer to take it back to the kitchen. He asked if I could see anything burnt. Of course they would cut anything burnt from the meat. I wanted to send it back because it wasn’t edible. He refused. I asked, “What am I supposed to do with this?” He said, “Take it home and feed it to your dog!” I said, “I’m sorry, my dogs wouldn’t eat it!” (My dogs wouldn’t eat this, they are used to good food.) I left the food behind. I was charged full price for inedible food. The three other people with me commented that the “brisket” meat tasted burnt and was very tough. They said that the manager was extremely rude. The mushrooms were very good. The baked beans were good. The macaroni and cheese tasted good, but was mac soup today. The corn bread, was good, the pig Wings were good, the chicken was just ok. The iced tea was excellent. See the photo, it sure does NOT look anything like a brisket.
