Had been probably 8 years since we had ate here. We use to like everything about them, all the food, appearance of restaurant etc. We ate there the other night and noticed the restaurant in need of some renovations inside, very dull and dingy lighting outside also. Ordered cheeseburger and fries. My mom ordered hot dog and onion rings. Her hot dog was fine. Onion rings were also good. My burger was burnt, asked for another one. Second one wasn’t burnt but the quality of the meat was just bad, my husband’s was also. Waitress and staff very friendly. Can’t speak of other food items but if you are wanting a burger, I don’t recommend it.

Service was slow and our food (eggs) wasn’t made correctly. My hash browns seemed as if they came out of the freezer and barely cooked. We were not pleased for trying to a simple breakfast.

Ate here when I was pregnant, got severe food poisoning and will never be back. No food is worth a hospital trip. My brother in law also dined here and ate off the same plate and got sick. Due to me being pregnant I was weakened and dealt with worse symptoms than him. After I was able to drive again I went to tell the manager. Not only did they not seem surprised but they didn’t apologize for almost causing me to miscarry my son. I will never go back and I think it’s the nastiest restaurant in Alexander County.

Absolutely filthy. Tables all had a layer of sticky grime on them and highchairs were nasty and unclean. Our son spilled a drink (our fault) and all we wanter was napkins to clean it and the waitresses (all but one finally) pretended not to notice the puddle of tea on the floor. Food is ok but sanitation is horrible. Dirty dirty place. Clean it up and i might cone back but until then this is my last visit.

All I can say is wow! What a charming and lovely restaurant. I came in with my daughter and can’t believe the amazing service that I received. Some places make you feel bad for having a small child but this family friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home with some of mama’s home cooked taste.

Ordered a cheeseburger atw with onion rings. Onion rings were okay, burger was very good. Patty had a nice grilled flavor and the slaw and chili was very good. Didnt take too long either, quicker than the kfc/taco bell or crappy t-ville mcdonalds

Ordered a burger with shredded pork. I could tell the patty was not fresh. It was Sysco or something comparable. Granted it was char-grilled, but it still was a cardboard texture and flavorless. The shredded BBQ pork was simply “meh”..Not inspired by any means. Waitress forgot an item I ordered. Blessing in disguise. Won’t be back, but satisfied my curiosity.

Porky’s is a gay is a great place to go if you have a crowd with you if you have your family they are they’re really good most of the time they’re not really full up through the week and can handle you fairly quickly but if they’re full it might take a little while so be patient the service is the service is good the food is good and I would give them a solid 3 stars
