The ambiance was superb, and the beef patty in the hamburger was juicy and delicious – I loved it! Several of my Chinese friends who were with me are fluent in Spanish, so they directly communicated with the Latin American server in Spanish. The server was very friendly and even provided complimentary bread before the meal.

The choice of either inside or outside seating is nice. China plates, good utensils, white tablecloths and napkins all lend to a nice dining experience. The food was good, but could be seasoned a bit more. Seems to be a bit on the bland side to accommodate a wider group of people. Had the Neapolitan Omelet while my dad had the Bistro Burger which was overcooked from the requested Medium-Rare, but not to the point of sending it back. We both had fruit smoothies which were great, but small for the price. Overall a good experience if you don’t mind the high prices. (The Non-alcohol brunch listed above was $72 before tip for 2 people.)

I walked up and down Canon Drive until I found a nice host and Porta Via had the sweetest welcome. (Honestly for such an expensive strip of restaurants they really should employ more kind hosts.) the service was impeccable, ambiance was romantic and warm, the food was incredible and hot, I can’t say enough good things. For date night, girls night, guys night, any night…. This place is it.

We asked for mussels in white wine (voice), the order was confirmed and accepted! also allergic to cheese, told him not to put it several times! The order was understood and accepted! brought WITH CHEESE and mussels in a different sauce! worst service in beverly hills! Sat outside the restaurant and received wonderful service. The food was excellent and portions were spot on. I went with the waiters recommendations and started with drinks and an appetizer. We dressed up for the evening but their was groups with casual clothing on too. Highly recommend!
