Stopped here while traveling and had a great experience. We ordered a stuffed potatoes and a ham and cheese sandwich. They also had burgers, ribs, and other southern dishes on the menu. Both came out very quick and hot. Our server was very good. It’s definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. We also had a piece of Hershey’s cake, which was very good. They only have beer and wine.

My husband and I shared the buffalo chicken empanadas and a club sandwich which was on a nice bread and it was hot. Fries were delicious as well. They also have and ice cream shop attached for the perfect ending to a meal. Just traveling through, but this was definitely a great find if you’re looking for a good variety that isn’t fast food. Moderately priced for the food we ordered. There is a surcharge for using a CC, so pay cash if you want to avoid that.

Had a wonderful dinner. The Jack Basket appetizer was 3x the expected size and was great – deep fries pickles, mushrooms, and onion rings with two different dipping sauces. I had grilled chicken topped with palmetto cheese and bacon and the wife had 8 oz sirloin – both tasty and cooked perfectly. Good menu selection, fair market prices and friendly service. Highly recommend – will go again!

Honestly, this is the first place in a while that made my steak exactly how I wanted it. So, bravo! Enough about the food. Our server was energetic, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Can remember his name, sadly, but he definitely fit our vibe for a night out. Okay, I lied, more food talk. The cake we had was amazing! The Reese’s peanut butter cake and the coconut cake were killer! Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the deep fried oysters. Didn’t have much flavor.

What a horrible experience. All I could hear from the kitchen was a bunch of screaming. Who wants to have dinner with there family listening to all of that. Not to mention I heard that this restaurant just got fined for having underage kids working in the kitchen. Not sure if it’s true. I have a friend who works for child labor department. Filled me in on that tidbit. We will not be back. I Don’t recommend this dive to anyone.

This place was not so bad. Me and my dad were traveling from VA to FL and we went to this town for a stop to sleep at a hotel. I wanted another restaurant that wasn’t fast food and I told my dad that this restaurant was top rated. My dad ordered the chicken with asparagus thingy and I ordered a chicken Alfredo. They also have some Italian options on the menu and make it to their style which isn’t really the same as the authentic but still really good. I like this restaurant. I hope to come someday on another road trip. It has been a month since we’ve visited this town and I would really love to come back someday.
