In the area for lunch today with my wife. She tried the Jamtastic burger and I had the Pig Burger. Now, I will say I am not a fan of pimento cheese but server recommended this burger to me out of the two choices I provided. It was really good, I liked the flavor combinations. I ordered my burger medium and that’s exactly how it came out unlike several restaurants that will provide medium well to well when you ask for medium. My wife said the Jamtastic burger was weird but really good. She said she didn’t expect the combination to work as well as it does. She was impressed.

Really enjoyed my lunch at this place. I had the basic “All the Way Burger” lunch special, which included a side & drink for $8.50. The burger was perfectly cooked & tasted great. The hot chips were abundant, crispy and freshly prepared. While this is in an older building with an exterior color that is outside of my taste, in the interior is clean and nicely decorated. It is well-lit, but still offers the feel of an upscale sports bar. Our server was very quick & attentive, but didn’t over-bother us. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was good, staff didnt do much at lunchtime and they were not friendly. The place was not crowded and the girl at front was not friendly or helpful. We walked in at 1:00pm and no one seated us or told us what to do. Then we sat ourselves down and girl at cash register motioned for us to come back up front an told us at lunch order here then go sit down. Going to try Porterhouse Burger in another city. Very dissappointed at this one. What few staff members there acted like they to lazy to bother with lunch customers!! ☹️☹️

Today was my first time ever coming hear and I was so disappointed. I will saw the one wing that I did try was good, probably in my top 5 places. The Mac and cheese was okay (added pepper for personal taste) but I didn’t even get to try the California burger I ordered because it had hair melted into the cheese. (Also nobody in the kitchen was wearing hair nets, I did see some staff have their hair pulled back though.) Disappointment number one. The waitress (purple hair) took it back then went to two other tables before heading back into the kitchen and turned around to tell me they were remaking my food. That should’ve been the first thing said after she came out the first time. Overall the waitress had a attitude with my entire party and it seemed like anything we asked was just a huge inconvenience for her. If she would have slowed down a bit and checked that EVERYONE at the table was okay we wouldn’t have had to keep bothering her and asking for stuff. Once my remade burger came out it had A LOT of avocado and little cheese (the hair burger literally had cheese oozing from it) so I asked her for more cheese. My friend asked for a new sweet tea because his was extremely watered down and she rolled her eyes as she walked away thinking we didn’t notice. Time and time again she reached over our table instead of just walking to the other side even when she actually go that way to get to the other table behind us. To top it off they added in 18% gratuity to some of my parties receipts when honestly it was not earned. I didn’t even eat the second burger that was brought to me and began to ask the waitress to take it off but after the way she acted I figured it was best to just pay for the meal, cut my losses and never come back here again. It’s really a shame because the food and reviews were promising. Idk if the young lady was having an off day or if they were understaffed and she was stressed because she was doing what seemed to be a lot of different tasks but it was not the experience I hoped for. Overall from what I did try (1 dry rub wing and the regular Mac and cheese) the food isn’t bad but the service today just sucked. If I did ever eat from here again it would be a REALLY Long time and I’d probably order to go but honestly I rather take my money elsewhere.

If you are handicapped be cautious when you park in their handicapped parking spot at the Market St location. There is a large rock in front of the sign. I parked there and did not see the rock because it blends in with the landscape. I have contacted Porter House many times, went back and talked to their manager. They will not return my calls. This is the damage it caused. It happened 2/13, its March and I’ve gotten no response.
