Wow! I think this place edges Five Guys and Bad Daddies! Big, unique, burgers with unexpected flavor profiles. My Egg-Splosion [breakfast] burger had candied bacon, bacon mayo, and grilled sourdough–and it was so good! The fries are yummy and not piled on the way they are at Five Guys. I say better than Five Guys because Five Guys burgers are generally the same burger customized as you want it, more or less, with the same ingredients. Not these burgers. Porterhouse beats Bad Daddies at it’s own game simply because the burger is bigger and tastier. The customer service at this location lacked. The restaurant could have been cleaner, too, especially the men’s bathroom. But the food was on point! I recommend it and will be visiting again.

Shortly after our move to High Point, we found out about Porterhouse Burgers. We’ve backed out of waiting for a table one day as they said that it would be a 45 minute wait. I thought “this sounds promising…” We had lunch there today!!’

Great portions for the value and the flavors were great. Burgers were cooked to order and basic but that combinations made them shine. Had the Hello Dolly burger and it was a great balance of sweet and savory. Staff was also super friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try the other food options.

Visited PorterHouse last week with a few work colleagues. Good selection of burgers. I had the grilled cheese burger on grilled sourdough and I have to say I was a little surprised that the burger was bland. It was cooked to perfection, but had very little flavor. I will be back to try another burger, as my taste buds could have been off. My colleagues loved their so I thinking it may have been me. Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly.

First time here. Don’t know why it took so long to try it. Service was top notch and the food was excellent. My wife had the chicken Philly and tots and I had the burger and tots. They have a Monday special for the burger at $6.95 and surely they are way underpriced at that special. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

My wife and I stopped in after attending a movie next door, and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. There were several wonderful options of burgers to try, or you could build your own. Mine had candied bacon and a fried egg with cheddar cheese…cooked tender and moist. Lisa’s had blue cheese bacon and a barbecue sauce. We both chose the homemade chips as our sides, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was done quickly and correctly. Definitely worth giving it a try…

The customer service is excellent. The fish sandwich was very good. The salad was fresh and green! My hubby had a patty melt and said it was average at best and the fries were unimpressive. However, they do have a large menu so perhaps he’ll find something he likes better next time. The place is very inviting and kid friendly.
