Portillo’s Taste of Chicago. Dedicated to bringing Chicago-Style hot dogs Italian beef and burgers to the Valley. They have a fun 50’s diner meets the Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere. The staff is friendly and eager to serve. We were treated to their Famous Five ; their Chicago-style dog, Italian beef, double char-broiled cheeseburger , spicy chicken sandwich, and Italian beef and sausage. Everything was great, from the cheese fries to the chocolate cake. They also serve beer and wine and are perfect for groups with ample seating and multiple locations.

I have been in the drive thru of this location many times. This was my first trip inside. I’m not sure after seeing the condition of the restaurant I will eat there again. We went Saturday night at 8 pm. Every booth and most tables were dirty had not been wiped down at all there was food and trash on the floors. Much of the staff was standing around. The young man that took our order was friendly but it was mostly empty so not crowded. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger which I’ve had many times. It had no condiments and the lettuce was very dark and wilted. My iced tea had no ice. My husband enjoyed his meal. The restroom was very messy I notified a staff member but she just shrugged and walked away. Super disappointed.

Hard to order because they have so much to choose from, so I usually give up and just order the hotdogs but this time I had no one waiting behind me so I took my time and ended up ordering the spicy chicken sandwich. Very good flavor and not too much bun which was great. The only problem I had was the amount of salt that they put on their fries was overwhelming I threw them away. I love the atmosphere and the employees are super friendly.

Portillo’s has a great atmosphere, great customer service… But the food is on a different level, meaning on the ok-ish side of it.. Its a little pricey for not so good food, the hot dogs were far from decent, the burger was good, the spicy chicken was anything but spicy or flavorful, and the fries were soggy with oil and not seasoning at all. The ketchup was the best part.

This was a delightful experience. The memorabilia alone was worth the trip! The staff were all warm and welcoming and the food was delicious! My only critique would be the bathrooms need to be remodeled. They were not the worst but not desirable.

Sooooooo so good. It makes you feel like you stepped into the past with the decor. The burgers are the real charbroiled burgers that you used to get your moneys worth from. Everything was delicious and it’s my new favorite burger place. It is a little pricey but it’s a REAL burger and you will be full.

Maxwell polish & the Italian Sausage was absolutely freaking amazing!!! My husband loved the Chili fries. The only negative, was the Bacon Burger was meh, he said it was very dry and overcooked. Other than that it was amazing and we’ll be back for sure!!!
