My first visit at a Portillo’s, and it was a great one. I had eaten an Italian beef sandwich a few days before at a fancy restaurant and was surprised how much I liked it. So when I heard there was a local chain specializing in it, I had to try it. Recommendations said to get it with extra gravy, and everything looked so good I ended up getting the big sandwich, fries and a strawberry and lemon cake shake. I ate every bite.

As always no matter what state you are in, Portillo’s provides great food at good prices. Just like our Portillo’s at home in AZ, the Schaumburg location is fun and filled with friendly staff. Service is quick, the radiant is clean, and the manager, who was doing some work at a nearby table (good for you not sitting in back in an office!) even asked us if we needed anything. Portillo’s is always a reliable place for a great meal!

Ordered delivery from this Portillo’s location from the Portillo’s website for the first time. The cheese cup along with the fries were spilled throughout the bag because the had been packed on top of two sandwiches. EVERYTHING was extremely cold to my surprise being that the location is fairly close. I tried the spicy chicken sandwich that barely had any of the sauce on the sandwich. I gave two stars only because the chocolate cake was good and fresh.
