I’m visiting from out of town and have never heard of Portillo’s. I’m glad we decided to stop in. It has a cool retro diner vibe and the employees are very friendly. When they call your order they put a cool spin on it like “Don’t be late for order 188!” The chopped salad, fries, chili cheese dog, and shake were very tasty. Next time I visit I’ll try the Italian beef or flamed broiled cheeseburger. They both looked delicious. Definitely a cool place to visit.

Don’t let the location fool you. Once you step in you are back in the 1950s. Love the 50s retro vibe. Had great service. Came in with my disabled dad. The cashier was friendly and patient. She was very helpful with our order. This location is melting pot you see every ethnicity come in for some grub. I love that.
