I have never seen a portillos not packed to the gills . Food came our quickly . Was pretty good . Expensive though. 40 bucks for 2 people to eat lunch without alcohol is crazy.

Went through the drive thru and got the Italian Beef Bowl. Was great as usual. The bowls are wonderful for people who are dieting or if you just don’t want to get your hands, car, shirt, a mess from all the tasty juice the sandwich leaks out. For the money the bowl is the way to go. I got extra beef, extra juice and also had both sweet and hot peppers put on. I left off the cheese, I know bad girl, but with the extra beef and juice, still tasted amazing! Also got fries, which are I swear, about the best thing Portillo’s has on their menu! A large Strawberry Shake rounded out my order and yes, just plain ole strawberry, no cake mixed in. It was delicious as usual and even after it melted some was just as good! Only problem I had, they no longer take cash at the drive through window. Now this isn’t normally a problem, but if you don’t want to use your credit or debit card and all you have is cash, know ahead of time that you will have to go in to pay for your order. I found it odd but not a deterrent to going there again. So sorry, the service did get a downgrade as the window girl was a little short with me when I tried to hand her cash, but I stayed pleasant and just dug out my card to pay. Other than that everything else was great and I will still go back for the amazing food.

Great atmosphere, ordered the big beef with extra gravy and hot peppers which was was very good but it seems the recipe has changed a bit over the years. Service a little slow being that it wasn’t busy. Love their crinkle cut fries and the ice tea always tastes freshly brewed.

Looking for a standard Chicago Dog and a descent Italian Beef Portillo’s has drive through and eat in with beer on Tap. Usually long lines through Drive through but well worth it.

If you’re going to charge a dollar for hot peppers over Doordash, please make sure they’re full — it looks like somebody dug into these, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did 🙁 the Portillo’s I work at always checks over the sides we prep before we take them down the line, but I guess here’s it’s not the same. Here’s to hoping that they were just underfilled

No Portillo’s where I live, and Peoria is my only semi regular destination with one, so this location is my only experience.

First time at a Portillo’s, we were super excited but my goodness what a hot mess from order to finish. The Cashier was very friendly, but she couldn’t hear the order and it was wrong. We had to go back three times to get a cheeseburger correct. In which the two manager/crew leaders or whatever they were, gave my husband an attitude, while remaking the cheeseburger three times. The bread that came with the garden salad was hard like a brick, no flavor and the fountain soda was flat with no carbonation. The only reason I gave this experience a 2 star, is because the restaurant was semi clean and the restrooms, were clean and stocked.

It’s located on the main road itself opposite the Northwoods mall therefore quite difficult to miss and If you are in Peoria you would definitely have passed by it.
