The atmosphere is like every other South Florida Italian restaurant within this price range. What stood out to me? They brought both garlic and plain rolls, which my sister loved. The food was salty. Everything from the rolls to the pizza made me feel like it was cooked in seawater. The plates that were brought out to us were wet from the plates that were brought out with the rolls, to the ones that came out with the appetizer, and finally the pizza. The service was incredibly slow even though there were plenty of busboys and servers. Take out was swamped, but dining wasn’t and I couldn’t understand why a pizza dinner took two hours or why I had to keep chasing down our server.

Got the two slices pizza lunch special. Came out quite quick. Slices were fairly large, cheese was flavorful and stretchy, sauce was mild but tasted fresh, and crust is reasonably crispy. The staff is humble and nice and you get your usual condiments. My only problem is its a tiny bit pricy. regardless, satisfied.

Portions are huge and the food was good. The place is always packed and I guess I was expecting some amazing food, but it wasn’t what my mind had built it up to be. My bad for putting such high expectations on food I had yet to taste. I will go back to try the pizza though.

My wife and I visited Porta Bella and were impressed by the food. To be honest this is our second dinner there. The food is consistent, nice portions and not too much of a burden on your pocketbook. I ordered the Chicken Francese and my wife ordered the Tour of Italy. I selected the pasta fagioli and my wife the house salad. Both were very nice. I substituted the broccoli with garlic instead of pasta. We asked for the garlic rolls, which were hot, nice, and garlicky!! My meal was hot and came with a lot of sauce and was delicious. There were two tender, nice size chicken breasts with mine, and my wife’s dinner was a humongous platter. All in all, we loved every aspect of the meal. The service was quick and meticulous. We had leftovers, which we feasted on for lunch the next day. We shall return!!

Garlic rolls were served cold. The food that we ordered was bitter, soupy, and awful. Spaghetti was over cooked and poor quality. Had no spaghetti sauce, it had diced tomatoes instead and it was bland. Will never go there again.
